Knochenmaterial besteht zu etwa 25% aus organischen Verbindungen. Sie stellen das Grundgerüst dar, an das sich anorganische Materialien anlagern, um dem Knochen seine Festigkeit und Stabilität zu geben.

Sie machen etwa 55 bis 60% aus und bestehen hauptsächlich aus Kalziumverbindungen wie Kalziumphosphat, Kalziumcarbonat, Kalziumfluorid, Kalziumchlorid, aber auch Magnesiumphosphat. Damit sind die Elemente Kalzium (65%), Phosphor (30%) und Magnesium (2%) die mineralischen Hauptbestandteile der Knochen.

I was expecting an unflavored fiber powder. However, expect a sour/tart taste. This means you can't add it to tea or coffee. I don't think it is appropriate to say that it is "unflavored" as I've had psyllium husk from other vendors that are truly "unflavored" (i.e. no citric acid). Dextrin (another fiber source) is also unflavored. But this Metamucil is tart (like sucking a lime) and can only be added to tart juices like orange juice or lemonade.

Taste: While the product doesn’t taste bad, preparing it as directed results in a very mild orange flavor. -as a drink I would prefer more flavor. Texture: The psyllium husk absorbs water extremely quickly—even in cold or room-temp water—which is just the nature of the ingredient itself. Because it starts to gel so fast, you have to chug it, and even then it can be difficult to get down. (I personally gag at it, but I have sensory issues) If the gel like texture is an issue for you, I found it more palatable mixed into food with water on the side. Texture aside, the product itself is highly effective. Mixability: It doesn’t always mix smoothly and tends to clump. Again nature of the ingredient not the brand. The powder is very fine and non-gritty perfect for other mixings. Side effects: I had uncomfortable bloating the first time (2 scoops/ full glass), I recommend starting with (1 scoop or less/full glass) Dont rush it. Increase it from there as you grow tolerance. You may feel very full. - it helped me eat less!
