Der literarische Adventskalender steht als Falt-Buch auf dem Tisch, am schönsten im Gegenlicht. Jedes Törchen beinhaltet eine Wachsscheibe und ein Blatt des 24seitigen Buches. Die Törchen öffnen, indem von der Rückseite her darauf gedrückt wird. So bricht die Perforation der Vorderseite auf und die Papierelemente können aufgefaltet werden. Nun den Inhalt rausholen, die Wachsscheibe auf den Kerzendocht fädeln und die Buchseite lesen.

Am 24. Dezember sind Licht und Literatur komplett; wir empfehlen die Kerze zum Fest anzuzünden und das Buch vorzulesen.

Zur Tradition des Produkts gehört es, dass die Geschichte zweisprachig ist; die Buchseiten sind reversibel. Patricia Zurcher übersetzte 24 Feuersteine ins Französische.
