Dieser Teppich kommt aus der persischen Stadt Keshan, welche nördlich im Iran liegt. Er ist der Inbegriff der persischen Teppichkunst und dank seines klassischen Aussehens bei fast jedem Teppichliebhaber bekannt. Das Motiv besteht zumeist aus einem Medaillon, welches sich farblich vom Rest des Teppichs absetzt. Die dichte Knüpfung und die hervorragenden Materialen sorgen dafür, dass Keshan Teppiche unempfindlich und langlebig sind.
