Das 1969 von Dr. Bailey Carrodous im Südosten Australiens gegründete Weingut Yarra Yering hat sich im Laufe der Jahrzehnte zu einem der bekanntesten und einflussreichsten Weingüter im Yarra Valley entwickelt. Auf diesem kleinen Stück Land im Norden der Unterregion Gruyère befinden sich einige der wichtigsten Pinot Noir-Weinberge der gesamten Region, die 1969 von Dr. Bailey Carrodous gepflanzt wurden. Heute wird die Produktion von der talentierten Winzerin Sarah Crowe geleitet. Die Pinot Noir-Trauben werden von Hand geerntet. Nach der Gärung wird der Wein 10 Monate lang in französischen Fässern ausgebaut, von denen nur 30% aus neuer Eiche bestehen, um eine übermäßige Schwere der Holzaromen zu vermeiden und den fruchtigen Charakter der Traube zu erhalten. Im Glas zeigt der Yarra Yering Pinot Noir eine leuchtend purpurne Farbe. Im Bouquet finden sich Aromen von Veilchen und Kirschen, gemischt mit leichten Noten von Anis. Am Gaumen sind die Aromen von roten Früchten und Kirschen explosiv. Dennoch zeigt der Wein eine große Eleganz mit feinen und seidigen Tanninen und einem mittleren, aber festen Körper, der ihn sehr ausgewogen und sofort trinkreif macht. Er ist ein strukturierter und konzentrierter Wein, der reifen und sich weiterentwickeln kann und einen mutigeren Charakter hat als die meisten Pinot Noirs der Region. Good deal for the price

The product is good and contrary to some comments I read it was not a mess to install and went on very nicely. That said I placed on a 71 Baracudda and starting from a 71db I was able to drop that down to about 66 with two layers Kilmatt 80mil

Kilmat Car Sound Deadening Mats

Excellent Sound Deadening Material!

I installed Kilmat Sound Deadening in my truck, and I’m extremely impressed with the results. The material is thick, pliable, and easy to cut to fit doors, floor panels. It sticks very well to metal surfaces and doesn’t peel, even after heating it slightly to make it more flexible. After installation, I immediately noticed a reduction in road noise and vibrations. Worth the money!!

A Must Have For Car Restorations!

I have been installing this matting in my 74 Datsun 260Z restore and very pleased with the ease of application and overall quality. My car has bedliner coating inside and this stuff sticks extremely well and is easy to trim and shape as well. I have just started installing it and using the rollers to work it in place but I can already tell a difference with just the little bit I have added....has reduced the resonance in the metal already. It's not a fast process but know it will be very rewarding once complete.

Great sound mat for the price!

This is a good product. Many people go with KILMAT because of the value to price point. I did as well. When you clean the surface (in my case it was all painted metal) this stuff sticks very well. I do recommend you use a seam roller of some type, I used Lumiteco 3 piece roller set. This will help with adhesion and mostly flatten the overlapped edges. It also helps you see where you have rolled as it leaves little grooves. The difference when we had no sound mats and after was very impressive. We haven't finished our install yet and it is quieter than when we had an interior in the van. There are thicker mats available in other brands, but this will work great for our van build, but this helps keep the weight down. It is quality material, just be careful when you are removing the backing, the edge of the foil face can cut you. I suggest you layout where you are installing the mat and cut to fit. From what I have read, you don't need to cover every inch in the vehicle, just spot install for a big difference. I chose to cover most surfaces to help keep sound out when we are sleeping in the van. We haven't finished putting the van yet, but we have driven it around and been very satisfied with this product.
