Herkunft

Belutsch ist eine Teppichprovenienz zwischen Afghanistan, Iran und Pakistan. Die Belutsch Teppiche (auch Belutsch, Beloutch, Beluch, Baluch, Belutch, Balouch, Baloutche oder Balúchi) werden von Halbnomaden oder Nomaden hergestellt. Ursprünglich wurden Belutsch Teppiche ausschließlich von den Baluchen Nomaden geknüpft. Heute knüpfen jedoch auch einige andere Stämme Belutsch Teppiche. Die Muster sind tendenziell geometrisch angelegt und die Farbpalette in Rot und Braun Tönen gehalten. Überwiegend werden Brücken und kleinere Teppiche produziert, weil diese auch von den Nomaden selbst verwendet werden und leichter transportiert werden können.

Material

Der Flor dieses Belutschs wurde aus hochwertiger Schurwolle handgeknüpft. Schurwolle wird durch das schonende Scheren von Schafen gewonnen. Schurwolle ist ein nachwachsender, natürlicher Rohstoff mit einer Reihe beeindruckender Eigenschaften: Durch den natürlichen Fettgehalt der Wolle stößt die Oberfläche Wassertropfen ab und ist so auf natürliche Weise gegen Schmutz imprägniert. Wolle bietet außerdem eine hervorragende Wärmeisolation, wirkt regulierend auf das Wohnklima und dämpft den Schall.

Worked for only 4 months. Now produces metal shards. Dangerous
Pros: Can be used with one hand. I bought this to have after surgery that left me without use of one arm for a few months. The light blinks when you need to charge it. Only needs a 2-3 min charge for enough juice to open a can. Cons: IT QUIT CUTTING CORRECTLY AFTER 4 MONTHS. I now have to use both hands to hold it in place to get it to latch on to the can. It also requires a few rotations around the top to cut through the seal, resulting in METAL SHARDS! The metal shards are super sharp and almost invisible. I stabbed myself with one enough to draw blood. This is dangerous as the metal could fall into the food when pouring from the can.
