Element Comp Fox – High Clearance Brass Steering Link Kit
Upgrade your Element Comp Fox with the High Clearance Brass Steering Link Kit—a performance-focused mod designed to improve both strength and handling. Made from solid 6mm brass rod, this kit adds valuable forward weight bias to help keep your front end planted on technical climbs.
The high-clearance design gives just enough room to clear the diff pumpkin, providing a bit more steering angle and better terrain control. Plus, it significantly boosts rigidity compared to the stock plastic tie-rod, giving you more precise and durable steering response on the trail.
Special Installation Notes:
1) The steering link is designed to mount in front of the axle housing not the rear.
2) On the portal box, you will need to flip the aluminum steering plates to the front of the knuckle.
3) Install the steering link on the bottom of the plate and the drag link on the top.
4) When installing the links on the passenger side, you will need a longer m3x20 to secure both the drag link and steering link at the same time.
