But it is rare to find a place where both truly coexist, blending naturally while respecting each other’s presence.

Yutenji is one of those rare places.
An old temple quietly watches over the neighborhood, while traces of soil, small fields, and rooted plants remain woven into the streets.
At the same time, new generations and cultures continue to shape the area, bringing in small shops and spaces that gently evolve the town without erasing its past.

It is also where I chose to relocate my flower shop, alongside a friend’s restaurant—moving away from the fast-paced, trend-driven district of Jingumae.

Yutenji feels like a place where past and present are not in contrast, but in conversation—
a quiet expression of onko chishin, learning from the past to create something new.

With this in mind, I hope to arrange in a way that reflects that same balance—
something that feels both rooted and evolving at once."

Displayed in two stacked Serax vases by Alex Gabriels, this bouquet brings a touch of timeless elegance and lightness to any interior.

The dimensions of this bouquet are approximately 80 cm in height and 50 cm in width.*

*All stems of the artificial flowers are bendable, allowing you to adjust their length to fit into various vases. The provided dimensions are based on the bouquet arranged in the depicted vase (see image).

For this project, we collaborated with Iki, owner of The Little Shop of Flowers, a beautiful flower shop in Tokyo. Iki specializes in creating natural fabric dyes made from leftover flowers, alongside her work with bouquets and ikebana, carefully composed arrangements where each stem is placed with attention and intention.

With this collection, we wanted to evoke that same feeling using our artificial stems. The difference is that here, the beauty does not lie in transience, but in something lasting, an enduring elegance. That’s why we call this collection Ikibana.
