Designed, engineered, tested, and assembled in Colorado, SPC Performance adjustable upper control arms are loaded with features. Improve suspension travel, handling, and tire wear while centering the tire in the wheel well for maximum clearance needed for oversized tires. Now equipped with maintenance-free ball joints and free-pivoting xAxis™ sealed flex joints in bonded rubber sleeves, for correction of alignment angles and restoration of factory ride quality. A Forged steel design provides the strength and durability needed for the most demanding environments. SPC adjustable control arms have improved clearance to get around the sp ring bucket and a full 80° of articulation in the ball joint. When trucks are lifted, caster and camber angles are affected that can lead to poor handling characteristics such as ‘wandering’. SPC control arms have positive caster built-in for lifted vehicles to restore alignment angles and driv ability. The patented ball joint design allows the tire to be positioned correctly in the wheel well and additional adjustment in the OE lower arms can maximize placement for oversized tires to avoid fender trimming. Looks terrific - great price
I needed to replace just one, but ended up using both the left and right so that they matched. In the closeup picture you can see that the original part is chrome with black on the inside edges of the fins, where the replacement is all chrome. This is only obvious up close if you're looking for it. There is also a slight gap in the fit at the lower inside corner - so not perfect, but also not noticable at any reasonable distance. Wide shots shows both replacement parts installed.
As others have mentioned, this is not the same quality as the original BMW part - but at 1/4 of the price, it is a darn good value and has restored the look of my car.
FOR 2003 CONVERTIBLE OWNERS: This part fits the "pre-facelift" model manufactured through March 2003. I learned this the hard way, because I didn't know about the facelift that came half a year later for cabriolets than it did for hard top models. Make sure you know which side of that manufacturing date your 2003 convertible is on before ordering.

Buy OEM
Finish is fine but sizing is wrong and these don't fit tight but rattle. About 3/4" movement in all ways, which will lead to scratched paint.
If you've got a beater, these are fine but for my clean M3, I'll buy OEM from FCP or Turner.
