This is a USDA Certified Organic essential oil. That means that this oil is free from GMOs and the plants grow freely without the aid of synthetic fertilizers and in soil that is clean of prohibited substances, such as harmful pesticides. When you purchase a certified organic product, you are also helping to conserve biodiversity! This helps to ensure our natural landscapes and their ecosystems are maintained and intact for generations to come.

Directions

Organic Clove Bud's distinct, long-lasting aroma makes this a perfect oil for passive diffusion. Add to your passive diffuser or potpourri, like dried pinecones and herbs.

Aromatic: Diffuse using 1-2 drops per 100 mL water.
Topical: Dilute to a maximum of 0.5% in a carrier.

This essential oil can be a potential skin irritant if too much is applied topically. To use safely, a 0.5% dilution in a carrier oil is recommended, which is approximately four drops per ounce of carrier oil. You can also dip a toothpick in Clove Bud, then swirl it around in your carrier oil or essential oil blend to impart its warm, spicy qualities.
