From its shocking curtain-raiser—the conflagration that consumed Lower Manhattan in 1835—to the climactic centennial year of 1876, when Americans staged a corrupt, deadlocked presidential campaign (fought out in Florida), Walter A. McDougall's Throes of Democracy carries the saga of the American people's continuous self-reinvention across five tumultuous decades. From the inauguration of President Andrew Jackson through the eras of Manifest Destiny, Civil War, and Reconstruction, it is an epic in which Mormon prophet Joseph Smith, showman P. T. Barnum, and circus clown Dan Rice figure as prominently as Herman Melville, Walt Whitman, and Henry Ward Beecher—a zesty, irreverent narrative that brazenly reveals our national penchant for pretense.Shipping Notes

Worth it!

Great buy! Worth the money and the color is nice. The keyboard works, some buttons I haven’t figured out but for the most part it’s worth the purchase!

It’s a great value
Color: Black
My son is very happy with this iPad case. It fits perfectly, provides great protection against scratches and minor drops, and feels durable and well-made. The stand feature is very convenient for watching videos, reading, or working. It also has a sleek design and doesn’t add much extra weight to the device.

Great case for iPad
Color: Black
I saw a similar Zugu case for my iPad and almost bought it, but it looked like my iPad might not fit, so I hunted and found this VIKESI case, which cost about 1/3 as much as the Zugu.
It's close to perfect. My iPad fits perfectly, and the almost infinite number of angles that it permits, along with magnets to hold it in place make it ideal for working on a desk or in my lap.
The only minor downside is that it's on the heavy side, probably because of the magnets. But unless you're travelling with it (I've switched to a small Fire tablet for travel), that won't be an issue.
Highly recommended.
