He also never heard of Changing Girls or magical moss pee, nor wind-calling staves. He is ÔinformedÕ of all this (and more) while he just canÕt rid himself of her. Her of colorful clothes, storm dancing, farting, bullying, and too much pretending.
So yeah, MarvinÕs tidy world has been a lot different since she arrived. He sees things he never noticed before. Maybe there is a little truth to her tales. Maybe there are Protection Rivers. Maybe there is a Shadow Demon, hard telling now.
