The Nike SB Dunk Low Travis Scott marks a defining moment in skate-ready streetwear, pairing Travis Scott’s fearless aesthetic with Nike SB’s proven performance. This collaboration delivers the first official skate shoe from Cactus Jack, combining a layered, textural look with a design language that mirrors the bold vibe of the Air Force 1 Low Travis Scott Cactus Jack. Now available on StockX, it remains a standout piece for riders and collectors alike.

Materials and evolving design: The upper blends a suede base with three distinct overlays—paisley canvas and plaid flannel—that create a rich, tactile silhouette. What sets it apart is the dynamic reveal: as the paisley overlays wear, an elephant print emerges underneath, giving the shoe a story of wear that evolves with every session. This isn’t just a colorway; it’s a living design that changes as you skate and style it.

Signature details that signal a drop above the rest: Embroidered text around the collar adds a subtle branded flair, while rope laces and La Flame’s Cactus Jack logo appear on the puffy tongues for a premium, on-brand finish. The result is a sneaker that looks as compelling off the board as it performs on it—combining grip, board feel, and a standout silhouette.

Why this release stands out

  • Not your typical drop: unlike earlier Travis Scott releases, these did not hit SNKRS and were sold through select Nike SB stockists, enhancing their exclusivity and collectability.
  • A true collab fingerprint: the design borrows the bold, layered aesthetic fans expect from Travis Scott while honoring Nike SB’s skate heritage.
  • Limited-release credibility with a contemporary twist: the combination of suede, paisley canvas, plaid flannel overlays, and the evolving elephant print creates a unique, conversation-starting sneaker.
  • Authentic Travis Scott branding: rope laces, embroidered collar text, and the Cactus Jack logo on the tongue deliver a cohesive, premium look that resonates with fans of the artist and the skate scene.
  • Original drop context: released in February 2020 at a $150 price point, offering an accessible entry into a coveted collaboration for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

Who this is for

This Nike SB Dunk Low Travis Scott is ideal for sneaker enthusiasts who crave a bold, evolving aesthetic and a shoe that doubles as a conversation piece. It suits skaters who want reliable grip and board feel without sacrificing style, as well as streetwear devotees who prize limited editions, cross-brand storytelling, and high-contrast details. If you’re building a capsule of pieces that age with your wardrobe and tell a visual story, this pair belongs in the rotation.

Practical usage and care tips

Use this sneaker as a daily driver for street sessions or as a standout product for on-foot looks that mix luxury-inspired details with skate-ready practicality. To preserve the suede and layered overlays, protect the material and clean promptly with appropriate suede care products. Be mindful that the overlays are designed to wear and reveal the elephant print over time, which is part of the shoe’s evolving character—embrace the aging process as part of its story.

With its distinctive combination of materials, exclusive release history, and evolving design reveal, the Nike SB Dunk Low Travis Scott offers a rare blend of performance, fashion, and provenance. It’s a sneaker that invites you to skate with purpose and style, to collect with intent, and to wear with the confidence that you own a piece of the Travis Scott x Nike SB narrative.

Horrendous, Even for a Required Textbook
Format: Paperback
Normally reviews aren't necessary for school textbooks. They're required. You're buying this whether you want to or not. However, I feel I need to take a moment and record how awful this book is. It's sexist, unhelpful, and is written as if the authors are talking down to a reader. You can't even complete the exercises after reading the chapters, and the book provides no answers if you were to try. I learned nothing from this text, except that women are smart and healthy and men are sick and stupid. These are stereotypes texts can easily avoid. Instead, this text sought out those stereotypes, going out of its way to reinforce them. Textbooks should put readers to sleep at worst, not actively insult them. And to be clear, this isn't about the fact that women live longer. This complaint concerns that every single example in the text that concerns a sickly individual uses a male pronoun, and every example in the text that concerns a healthy individual uses a female pronoun. The sexism grows from there. Textbooks have to try to be this poor. In that regard, and that regard alone, this one succeeded. If you're about to take a class that requires this textbook, reconsider your life trajectory. Something is going wrong. Also, and this is petty, but the comics made for this textbook are probably the worst I've ever seen. The art is so poor it's not even funny. My dog could do better.

Helpful and to the point.
Format: Paperback
As an undergrad psych student, It's a helpful little book! It essentially has everything the full DSM-5 has but skips all the word foreplay and gets right to the point.

Just the DSM-5 tool I was looking for
Format: Paperback
I searched for a DSM-5 quick reference tool that I could use throughout my workday. This DSM-5 book by Medical Creations was just what I was looking for. Each psychiatric condition is listed in an easy-to-find and easy-to-read format. Diagnostic criteria are summarized in a bulleted format. I found the listed corresponding ICD-10 code especially useful when charting patient notes. I found the final chapter especially interesting, as I was unfamiliar with many of the covered conditions. Chapter 20 is titled "Cultural Diagnoses and Conditions for Further Study, Interviewing". This chapter includes disorders such as caffeine use disorder and internet gaming disorder. The book is lightweight and nicely fits into a white coat pocket. It is a great resource for both students who are just learning about psychiatric conditions and for experienced healthcare providers. I highly recommend!
