Old Blue Eyes! When Paolo mentioned the idea of dedicating an album to the great songs Frank Sinatra brought to success, it was love at first sight. The image of Frank Sinatra is the first I remember seeing on a television screen: it was the mid-1960s and I was maybe six years old. That man with the big ears, wearing the big 1940s-style hat, smiling, sitting on a high backless stool silhouetted against the classic "infinite" light gray background, typical of television studios of the time, will always remain in my mind, associated with a pleasant feeling of serenity. Even more so, the music he sang, immediately after the ritual interview: many years later I realized it was the splendid "(Love is) The Tender Trap". As I think everyone knows, Sinatra was not a songwriter, but a splendid performer. So unique that it would indeed be natural to call the songs he performed "Frank Sinatra's songs," so fundamental is the interpretation to the song's valorization. It would therefore have been very difficult, if not impossible, in my opinion, and almost a contradiction, to imagine a tribute to Frank Sinatra by having others sing "his" songs. The shared passion for the "old man with the blue eyes," which evidently binds this writer to the splendid performers of this album, has therefore made possible a production that fully respects the spirit of the songs and allows us not to dare to make impossible comparisons with The Voice. The final result of the project is certainly not for me to judge. Or perhaps it is... However, what I feel I can affirm is the absolute relaxation, "ease," and sense of pleasure with which the recordings were made. The music flowed magically from the instruments to the point that for many songs a single take was enough: and it was already perfect. So Long Frank!

Good
Format: Paperback
Not as impactful as its predecessor, but still an enjoyable novel. The concepts tackled here are more new adult, though still plenty of young adult to go around.

Beautiful
Format: Paperback
Not as I expected, I kinda was hoping for more of a storyline connected to the first book, or even a pt2, but nonetheless still such a beautiful book filled with love and I definitely say it’s worth reading and adding to your collection ! Just to clarify it does included the old characters but mainly not till the end, and only for a few chapters. Still so wonderful !

I wanted more
Format: Kindle
This one fell a little flat. The ending felt rushed after so much build up. I still am happy to have read it and to learn more about the LGBTQIA experience - even if fictional.

Not as good as the prequel but still amazing
Format: Hardcover
This book made me laugh cry and everything in between. In my opinion, Last Night at The Telegraph Club was a better book overall but this one was also good and i love the way the prequels story was connected to this books main character. I will say the beginning is a bit dry but it picks up towards the middle, stick with it!
