The Maker Behind the Bar
Vigdis Rosenkilde is a Norwegian bean-to-bar chocolatier who works directly with farmers in Peru, ensuring fair wages and sustainable practices while highlighting the singular flavours of Peruvian cacao. By choosing to produce her chocolate in Peru rather than shipping raw beans to Europe, she makes a greater economic contribution to the communities at the source of her raw materials. Her dedication to quality has earned her multiple gold medals at the International Chocolate Awards, including recognition as one of the world's best dark chocolate makers.
