Have you started sneezing when you vacuum? Does the simple chore make you cough or bring a tear to your eye? That might be because your filters need replaced. If you go too long without a filter swap, eventually your filters are going to clog and get little tears, reducing their effectiveness. One thing you can do to help is ensure you're changing your filters in the recommended time frame, usually around every four to six months for vacuum filters. These filters are washable, which mean you can rinse them with cool water to remove the larger bits and help keep them working better for longer. Rinse them every couple of weeks and air dry them before you reinstall them. This filter kit contains foam filter and felt filter.

FRIENDLY REMINDER Don't overtighten the bolts
MUCH better than the cheap plastic OEM part, Just a reminder though, these thread into an aluminum block so be very careful to start them finger tight first, then evenly tighten both bolts to push the fitting into the chamber. If you don't, it will slightly misalign and you run the risk of stripping the threads. The one comes with the replacement o ring, and be sure to get some antifreeze on that seal prior to attempting to push it into the chamber. IT IS A TIGHT FIT, but that's what you want, so just be careful. You might also want an extra hose clamp on hand, as the one that came with this began to bend as it got tight, so I had to replace it for peace of mind. Overall, great product though.
