New Vinyl Record - Blood Sweat & Tears - Ultradisc MFSL

Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs

Don't call it a comeback. Not only did Blood, Sweat & Tears' eponymous album establish new precedents for musical fusion and record production upon release in early 1969, the quadrupleplatinum set marked a new commercial beginning for a crosscultural group nearly decimated months earlier when it's prominent co-founder, Al Kooper, departed along with two other members. The resultant sophomore effort went on to top the charts for seven straight weeks, earn the Grammy Award for Album of the Year, spawn three Top 5 singles, and land the group a headlining slot at Woodstock. No wonder it's reputation remains golden among listeners, which have never experienced the hybrid fare in more vibrant fashion than on this collectible reissue. Strictly limited to 6,000 numbered copies and pressed on MoFi SuperVinyl at RTI, Mobile Fidelity's UltraDisc One-Step 180g 45RPM 2LP edition presents Blood, Sweat & Tears with exacting sonics. Prized for decades for it's textures and colors-as well as the tonalities, extension, and subtleties associated with the horn section-Blood, Sweat & Tears now comes across with multidimensional scope and tremendous frequency responsiveness. The collective's genre-bending brass and woodwind instrumentation possess pointillistic details as rich, deep, and complex as a succulent Turkish espresso. Indeed, the record's most enduring appeal pertains to the cohesive performances of a group that blazed it's own trail. Let this UD1S set serve as your guidepost.

Exactly what I need for the RHIT exam
I have this book in electronic form from one of my college classes but it was always a nightmare to access! Even with lifetime access to it, I can no longer access it since class is over! After spending over $100 on the virtual version I didn’t want to spend too much on the paper version also, so this was perfect. Near perfect condition. Arrived very quickly. Great price. Plus- the person before me included some helpful (yet faint) answers for me!! Thanks for having this book available at an affordable price!

    Good resource
I bought this to prepare for my RHIT exam, gives a good run down of most HIM topics but does not go in depth, repeat does not go in depth at times, but good for quick referencing and seeing how different topics relate. This should not be the only resource to prepare for test. as I said, does not go in depth on topics you need to know a lot about on exam. For example devotes one page to a topic that you could easily read a whole textbook about. For example, there is a chapter on reimbursement. You’re going to want to actually review your text book that is solely about reimbursement methodologies, but as I said a good general resource to give a refresher and maybe get a better understanding on how different HIM topics relate. At times presented better information than you could find using a google search.

    Expensive, but useful
I rented, then purchased. This book has a lot of concise information not easily found online so is worth the money for accuracy. It is a heavy, hardback book but if kept in an office, is a very useful tool.
