The laceap flower clusters' open green and mature to a color depends on the PH of the soil in acidic soils they will be purple tones while in alkaline they will be pink before fading to green again as it ages. Its a repeat bloomer with the first bloom on old wood in early summer and quickly reblooms again later in summer on new wood.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Medium Maintenance. Mulch soil to maintain moisture and overwinter. If pruning is needed do so after flowering. Slight susceptibility to bud blight, wilt, leaf spot, and mildew. Aphids are occasional problems.
