Marvels of Indian Regional Cuisines (Volume I) is my tenth book in the series on culinary items. Based on the encouragement received from my earlier books, I have written this book.India is a vast and diverse country with a multifarious culture, tradition and of course cuisines. Each region has its own unique blend of food mainly on account of the vegetables, pulses or other natural items that re abundantly available in that region. For instance, coconut trees could be spotted in plenty across the eastern and southern parts of India. Similarly, legumes and lentils are grown across western and northern parts. One would naturally come across many coconut preparations from south and east of India while recipes from north and west are incomplete, especially, the main course items, without lentils and legumes. It would also be interesting to know that in those regions where spices are grown, there is generally liking for the people to have more spicy food, like in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka etc.Through this book, an attempt has been made to bring together in one place recipes from various parts of the country. Due to the vastness and the variety of cuisines across various regions of India, the book under this title has been divided into two parts so as to reasonably include some of the important cuisines from each of the region.I hope you would enjoy preparing the dishes and your family and friends would relish it. Wishing you happy and healthy times.About the AuthorI have written several books on culinary items in English and Tamil.I have been writing articles, stories, travelogues, jokes, recipes, real incidents, experiences, poems etc. in various South Indian Tamil magazines.I have also written several books in Tamil on short stories, tips, travelogues, childrens stories etc., many of which are available in online portals. With the continued support of the publisher M/s Shroff Publishers & Distributors and the encouragement received from the readers, I have, so far, written a series of nine books on culinary items in English. The present book, Marvels of Indian Regional Cuisines (Volume I) is the tenth in the series.May I wish all the readers, their family members and friends all the very best.Shipping Notes

Very Good and Well Written
Format: Hardcover
Probably about on page 55, enjoying reading. No page bleeds for me, it's a good-looking book. One of the cool ideas in here was this part that said that the super difficult emotions like grief, if you ignore these emotions, ***They get buried alive. Buried alive. BURIED ALIVE .*** SO well said!
And That's why we benefit by doing the work to unbury and fully feel and fully respond to Life. As Brené Brown says, when we cut ourselves off from the ChallenginG emotions, like Grief, and try to run from them, we're ALSO cutting ourselves off from the fun, happy, positive emotions like JOY and LOVE and BELONGING.
I really appreciate how this book might say "God" and talk about things being Holy AND YET this book is NOT centered on religion. I would not be able to read it if it was. I feel in good hands since the author seems wiser than religion and religiosity. For me, God is cool; religion is Not.
This book feels good to read. I think this can be a helpful book for EveryonE, these days - even those who've already been on this spiritual Healing journey for quite some time.

Deep, honest, and healing
Format: Audiobook
This book has completely transformed my life. Iyanla writes in a way that feels real, honest, and sometimes a little uncomfortable (in a good way). It challenges you to look at your patterns, your pain, and your habits, but also gives you tools to start healing and creating better boundaries. If you’re on a self help or healing journey this is definitely a must read.
