A beautiful diamond cluster ring featuring an oval-shaped face, set with round diamonds to the centre and with a halo of rose-cut diamonds to the border, weighing an estimated total of 0.25 carats, all mounted in 18ct yellow gold. A stunning piece which could make for the perfect engagement or simply everyday diamond ring.

The central oval panel of round diamonds appears to be a later addition to the ring (perhaps replacing a different stone that was once there), but the rest of the ring is antique.

Circa 1910-1920.

Stamped and tested as 18ct gold.

The oval head measures approximately 11.8mm (L) x 9.2mm (W) x 3.9mm (D).

The approximate weight is 3.6 grams.

Ring size M (UK) or 6 (US) - this ring can be adjusted in size in our workshop. Please get in touch to discuss sizing options and lead time.

CONDITION: In very good antique condition, with minimal surface wear commensurate with age. We believe the ring to be antique with a later added central diamond cluster panel.

And because of this, I don’t recommend this book to young kids under 3 though. Some flaps might be tricky for younger kids. Even I as a parent learned so much about construction.

Great book, but the other book of the same author is much better

This is a very high quality book, chock a block full of information about construction sites, with lots of imaginative flaps, things that swivel, move, and fold. HOWEVER...it is not as good as "The Ultimate Book of Vehicles" by the same author. The "Vehicles" book is more appropriate for kids 3 years and up: It is still full of awesome flaps, swivels, and things that move, but it is simpler, with pictures of the vehicle, the name of the vehicle, and maybe a few names of the parts of the vehicle. You open up a flap to see inside, make it move, etc. My son found it very interesting. The "Construction" is really aimed for older kids, I'm guessing 5 and up, maybe even older. There are just so many words on the page, and so much information. The flaps are not as interesting as the previous book, and I found many of the moving parts to be "sticky", and my 3 year old ripped quite a few out within a week of reading the book. We have not ripped anything from the "Vehicle" book. So I would say if you have an older kid who wants to gain a lot of knowledge about construction sites, this book is for you. But if you have a younger child (3 and up, any younger and they'd destroy the book), get the "Vehicle" book.

The house across the street is being torn down and rebuilt and he will sit and point to the book and say this is what they are doing today. I think this book is one of my nephews most prized possessions. It’s a great book that can grown with them for a few years. He is only 3 but this could easily engage a 5 or 6 year old.
