Born in London, Scripps grew up in rural poverty on the Illinois prairie. She went from rags to riches, living out that cherished American story in which people pull themselves up by their bootstraps with audacity, hard work, and luck. She and her brother, E. W. Scripps, built America's largest chain of newspapers, linking midwestern industrial cities with booming towns in the West. Less well known today than the papers started by Joseph Pulitzer and William Randolph Hearst, Scripps newspapers transformed their owners into millionaires almost overnight. By the 1920s Scripps was worth an estimated $30 million, most of which she gave away. She established the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in La Jolla, California, and appeared on the cover of Time magazine after founding Scripps College in Claremont, California. She also provided major financial support to organizations worldwide that promised to advance democratic principles and public education. Great for a costume, but not for every day

I'm not sure what I was really expecting, but these pants made me feel like I was in the song zoot suit riot and/or Dick Tracy was trying to find me. They honestly just feel very costume-ish as opposed to being something dressy. I couldn't see myself wearing these to a job interview, which is kind of my standard for what qualifies as "dress clothes." However, they do fit quite well in the waist the and down the leg. I have a wide variety of clothing options, but I even find it difficult to pair anything with these pants.

Lightweight Fabric with a Bit of Stretch

I'm a fan of any fabric that has a small percentage of Spandex in the blend -- like these pants. (Along with mostly polyester and viscose.) It's not noticeably stretchy but the comfort is there. The fabric is very light and smooth -- and the stripes make a nice design statement. (They're giving me "gangster" vibes. Ha!)
I have a 32" waist and the Medium fits me perfectly (with a little room to spare). I do have to hem the bottoms since I'm on the short side, but they taper nicely down the leg. There's an "adjustable waist" mentioned in the headline description, but I don't see anything resembling an adjustable waist on the pants. Just a hook and button closure. (Maybe I'm missing something?) I'm happy to add these to my wardrobe.

This wallet design is fantastic. Compact, front or back pocket use. Has a ton of storage even though it doesn't look it. Last one lasted 7 years of abuse and use. I ordered 2 in case these never get made again. Grab one, best wallet and real durable leather, not fake leather.
