Shadoks's third release by Finnish band Charlies following reissues of Buttocks (2013) and Musiikkia Elokuvasta Julisteiden Liimaajat (SHAD 163CD, 2014). Jail Sessions was recorded in 1969 and 1970 in Charlies's rehearsal room, a drunk tank at the local jail, made available to the band by Kari Pitka Lehtinen's father, a local police officer. After Charlies finished the 1969 Julisteiden Liimaajat album, they never thought the final product sounded right, though it received a lot of positive feedback. Pitka (bass) and Eero (guitars) spent a lot of time considering how to deliver a harder-sounding album as a follow-up, representing the true Charlies spirit. They got the chance to make a new album, one that would be released by the famous Love Records label. That album, Buttocks, also gained a good reputation, but the result was only as good as it's budget. In the end, the band was never content with it. One night Pitka said, Eero, we should have made our album from your tapes, the result would have been much different. Jail Sessions is those tapes. Much heavier in sound, with amazing electric guitar and 100% pure heavy underground sound. Includes alternative versions of songs from Buttocks as well as previously unknown songs.

Works great once assembled

I had an experienced handyman attach the wheels, and even he was confused since the instructions are poor. So allow yourself some extra time to assemble the wheels. However, once attached and placed upright, the wheels are smooth and its very easy to position. And it folds up into a small footprint just as advertised. Looks great. No issues with quality.

Game-changer for me

I’ve had a basement office for a while. I share a big room with my work bench. I’ve always just had a curtain hanging between the two, but after a promotion, I decided it was time for something more professional looking. This divider is awesome, and move-able when I need the space for my workbench activities.
The frame is very sturdy - impressively sturdy even. The felt walls are thick enough to take even heavy duty tacks.
There are three things that could make it even better, but none of them are enough to knock a star off my review, because this is truly a quality piece of office gear.
1. Put a magnetic strip on the top bars so that you could hang a little heavier items or add magnetic hooks. I plan to buy some magnetic tape to allow for this.
2. Allow the panels to be locked at the top. The locking wheels do a decent job of keeping everything in place, but if you could also lock the top of the frames, it would greatly increase stability. Note that it is already quite stable, but the top locks would make it very similar to actual cubicle walls.
3. Put a swivel caster on the middle wheel bars. This would allow you to configure the panels and the “feet” at angles other than 90 degrees when desired.
Again, these suggestions would take a fantastic item and put it into 6-star rarefied air. It is truly a great product as-is, but I would gladly pay another $100 for this item if it had these additional features.

Strongbird room dividers

Flimsy and cheap screws
Screws snapped off when I tried to drill htem in and no matter how I try to get the leg pieces in they will NOT stay. Falls apart, screws snap off, the middle axle holes arent even lined up so you cant install one of the pieces in the first place.
