The RAS-5000 seamlessly integrates HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) for playback of video sound, and effortlessly streams from online sources to play your favourite music from Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Internet Radio, or any service available on your computer, tablet, or mobile device via Airplay 2, Google Cast, Roon, or aptX HD Wireless Bluetooth. The RAS-5000 is the perfect fusion of advanced audio technology coupled with modern convenience.

In addition to streaming and HDMI ARC you’ll also enjoy a wide array of traditional source inputs including Coaxial, Optical and RCA Analog inputs. The PC-USB input supports PCM and native MQA and MQA Studio decoding.

Digital music files up to 32-bit, 384kHz resolution are rendered with ultimate precision thanks to the premium ESS Digital to Analog converter, while the streamlined ARC connection between your TV and RAS-5000 ensures dynamic, high resolution sound from your favourite live sports, TV shows, movies, and games.

Like all Rotel amplifiers, the RAS-5000 is constructed around a massive linear power supply featuring a custom toroidal transformer, which allows the RAS-5000 to deliver a staggering 220 watts of Class AB power into 4 ohms. The overengineered power supply delivers ultra-low-noise power to all critical components and robust current to the amplifier output transistors to deliver deep, controlled bass energy with exceptional fidelity.

I live in an area with hot summers, and we keep the AC around 73-74 overnight and this is way too hot for that. I had to replace it with something thinner. I love the feel of this duvet inside of my cover, it feels super nice, warm and cozy. It is just too hot. I will try it over the winter months, but it might just become a mat under my sheets to make the bed cozier. If you live somewhere with hot summers, this won't be the one for you for the hot months. It will be great for someone up north, or anywhere with mild evenings. Wish I could use it. Feels so cozy.

This thing is definitely on the warm end and probably won't be suitable for Florida summers, but depending on how you set the AC at night it could be fine! The comforter is weighty, it feels like quality, and has a soft fabric. I wouldn't use it without a duvet cover, that's more of an aesthetic choice but I like keeping it clean. The white is very white. Honestly, I will be getting another one simply because I'm so impressed. Definitely no need to drop $300+ dollars elsewhere.
