To enter the immersive realm of 'Still Point: Turning World' is to join guitarist/composer Joel Harrison and colleagues in embracing the gloriously enlightening globalisation of music, unhindered by category or preconception. This original eight-movement work brings together contemporary percussion quartet Talujon (Matt Ward, Michael Lipsey, Tom Kolor, David Cossin), Indian sarode player Anupam Shobhakar, and jazz musicians Hans Glawaschnig (bass), Ben Wendel (saxophone/bassoon) and Dan Weiss (drums/tabla) to realise the guitarist's striking, kaleidoscopic vision. Guests include V. Selvaganesh (percussion), Nittin Mitta (tabla), and Stephan Crump (bass). The breadth of Washington DC-born Joel Harrison's discography (twenty albums, as leader) speaks of the eclecticism of his creativity, encompassing jazz, blues, rock, classical, Appalachian music, and intensely personal, lyrical songs. 2014 Whirlwind release 'Leave the Door Open' (also featuring Anupam Shobhakar) provided an earlier glimpse of his inspired interactions. 'Still Point: Turning World' seeks out further expansive pathways thanks to Harrison's skilful integration of beguiling, unexpected timbres and rhythms, all presented by the virtuosic and shared prowess of this impressive nonet. Dive into "Raindrops in Uncommon Times" and you're transported along marimba and tabla-hued tributaries as guitar, sarode, sax, and konnakol improvisations coruscate across it's rippling shadows; and in "One is Really Many", the excitement of Shobhakar's complex Indian raga patterns are matched by Weiss's intense, fiery drumming. Elsewhere Harrison's gritty, wailing guitar phrases and Wendel's extraordinary wailing saxophone colour "Permanent Impermanence". "The concept of 'Still Point: Turning World' is to take the listener on a soulful journey", confirms Harrison. "The aim is to go deeply into quiet, private introverted spaces, and then also into passionate explosions of percussive wildness." This is, indeed, a genre-busting odyssey of discovery.Mvt.1 Raindrops In Uncommon Times / One Is Really Many / Permanent Impermanence / Mvt.4 Wind Over Eagle Lake / Mvt.5 Ballad Of Blue Mountain / Mvt.6 Time Present Time Past / Mvt. 7 Creator/Destroyer / Mvt.8 Blue Mountain (A Slight Return)

For dry pits, this is it!
Style: Casked Vanilla, Size: 2.65 Ounce (Pack of 1)
This stuff works great. I used to use the Dove Men+ but they changed the formula and it did not work as well for me
This formula (aluminum zirconium tetrachlorohydrex gly) works phenomenally keeping the under arms dry and the Casked Vanilla is a nice, long lasting scent. Easily lasts all day and still smells fresh after 36-ish hours. I have not experienced any irritation. Glad I found this product!

Strong scent, strong protection
Style: Italian Bergamot, Size: 2.65 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I’ve been using Cremo Deodorant for Men with the 48‑hour sweat and odor protection, and it does a genuinely good job of keeping me dry and fresh through a normal workday and into the evening. The formula goes on smoothly without tugging, feels comfortable on the skin, and I haven’t noticed irritation or marks on my shirts, which is a big plus if you wear darker colors. The scent is classic Cremo: richer and more layered than a typical drugstore stick, so you get a more “cologne‑like” vibe rather than a basic soapy smell.
In terms of performance, it holds up really well for office, errands, and casual activity, and you only really start to notice it fading after a long, hot day or heavier workouts. If you run very hot or do intense outdoor work, you might want to reapply or pair it with a body spray, but for most day‑to‑day situations the protection is more than enough. Overall, if you like bolder, sophisticated scents and want something that feels a step up from basic antiperspirants without complicating your routine, this stick is easy to recommend.

Smells Incredible and Actually Works!
Style: Palo Santo, Size: 2.65 Ounce (Pack of 1)
’ve tried a lot of men’s deodorants over the years, but this one from Cremo — Palo Santo Antiperspirant & Deodorant — really stands out. The scent is next-level: smooth, woodsy, and just a little bit exotic without being overpowering. It smells high-end, almost like a cologne you’d pay good money for.
Performance-wise, it absolutely delivers. I stay dry and fresh all day, even through long work hours and workouts. The 48-hour protection claim actually holds up — I’ve gone a full day and into the next morning without any trace of odor or stickiness.
It also goes on smoothly, doesn’t leave white marks on dark shirts, and doesn’t have that waxy or powdery feel some antiperspirants do. The packaging feels premium too, which fits the Cremo brand.
Bottom line: If you want a deodorant that smells incredible and actually performs like it says it will, this one’s worth every penny. Palo Santo is now my go-to scent — masculine, clean, and unique.

Pleasant scent, decent protection, fades by evening
Style: Vintage Suede, Size: 2.65 Ounce (Pack of 1)
The Vintage Suede scent is pleasant and professional - not overpowering. Provides decent odor protection through most of the workday, though I've noticed it starts to fade after about 6-7 hours during long shifts at the dealership. The 48-hour claim seems optimistic. Goes on smooth without leaving white residue on dark shirts, which is appreciated. For the price point, it's a solid everyday deodorant. Works well enough for office environment but might need reapplication for very active days or hot weather. Good value but not exceptional performance.

Better cologne type deodorant that's not as EXTREME as dramatic competitors.
Style: Palo Santo, Size: 2.65 Ounce (Pack of 1)
So far so good with this deodorant regarding how well it performs through a full day of light activity (morning yoga, playing with the dog, carrying kids around, etc.). The scent is light and I notice it periodically throughout the day, but it's light enough to not be overwhelming or smell like a strong cologne. The fragrance is very "Man Fireplace Candle" type scent, but in a good way that is perfect for its purpose. My biggest complaint is the deodorant is very malleable, almost putty-like, so it tends to get squished out the sides of the lid when open/closed daily, therefore making it messy. This is relatively avoidable by just winding down the wheel each time, but is "annoying" as opposed to just using and capping. It glides on smoothly and feels good on skin or "hairy pits". A little pricier, but it's worth it in my opinion. Will be purchasing again.
