2004-2005 EP3 Civic Si (5-lug hubs) 850HP Level 5.9 Axle/Hub Kit . The new Level 5.9 axle/hub set, similar to our Level 5 system but with some major upgrades, the inner cv and now featuring our new tapered high quality aircraft grade axle bars. We now have created a Pro race worthy system that works with the standard spline size on the differential end, that can be used with Quaife, Wavetrac and other aftermarket limited slip diffs and spools. What we have done is made a new ball & cage inner cv from high quality chromoly. This inner cv now has 6 contact points and is stronger than a Porsche 930 (108mm) cv (same cv used by many high dollar systems). This along with the 33 spline outer and new 36 spline tapered bars makes it the strongest set of axles to date. The Kit comes with both axles and a set of custom hubs that will fit the stock bearing sizes and extended ARP studs. This system is designed for 850WHP and tire size will not affect its strength.

*Update*
Recently OBX tried to duplicate our Level 5.9 axle. We tested the OBX axle against the original style 5.9 axle and the new version with tapered bars that we currently offer. Here are the results of the destructive testing:
OBX axles- withstood 3300 ft-lbs and 55 degrees twist (this is what a Level 2.9 axle breaks at, a Level 3.9 is about 3700 ft-lbs)
The original Level 5.9 axle (previous version) withstood 4850 ft-lbs and 80 degrees twist.
The new Level 5.9 axle with tapered bars(currently available) - 5400 ft-lbs and 250 degrees twist!!!!
The Level 5.9 axles, often imitated but NEVER DUPLICATED.

Great for heavy duty chewers

Our two dogs love these bones. They’re very durable for heavy duty chewers and it takes them a fairly good time to get through them. They must love the taste because it’s the bone they first pick up. I’ve gotten two flavors so far, beef and the peanut butter. Our dogs love them and because of that so do we.

Seems great, but not for my lab

I am rating this, to some degree, from a hypothetical standpoint. It SEEMS like a great bone. It SEEMS like it will last quite a while and withstand some avid chewers. However, I can't say for certain because it just wasn't well-loved by my Black Lab.
She has a penchant for chewing animal bones. She loves to find wildlife bones in our yard and munch on them, so we do our best to provide healthy chewing options in the house. She will go to town on a cow's joint and even enjoys a peanut butter filled Kong from time to time, but this bone just didn't meet her expectations.
It's not a bad bone. It has a very rugged feel and seems like it would be safe if bits and pieces were to begin coming off, like they're safely edible. I guess (and I can't say for sure..) it just doesn't have as much of a meaty flavor as many dog's like. If your pup is a Nylabone chewer- or likes to chow down on your loafers- this bone may be a perfect new addition to his/her toy bin.

Bone for destroyers

4 months ago I Bought this bone for my 90lb lab who destroys all his bones, but not this one! It barely has any teeth/chew marks on it and it’s one of his favorites. It was a great find and I’ll be sure to buy again. If you have a dog that destroys bones I’d give this one a try.

Immediate Doggy Happiness!

Great dog bones! These are a nice size for my 55-pound Aussie, as well as our 96-pound Alaskan Shepherd. They are big enough to last for a while, and big enough to see so that I don't step on them with my bare feet; part of this is that they stick up off the floor a bit, instead of being a flat bone, all in one plane.
