We will go through every step and the instructions are there for reference as well as the sample you will make and take away with you. In this curtain making class students will make a sample curtain with all materials and written instructions provided in a welcome pack. We will go through every step and the instructions are there for reference as well as the sample you will make and take away with you.
The aim is to learn about measuring, calculating fabric allowance, preparing and then sewing the curtain, making joins, adding hems and sewing on tapes. This is a really comprehensive day course and it is an advanced sewing class and NOT suitable for beginners. If you have never been a student of M-Design Sewing Studio you benefit from at least one or two evening lessons prior to the workshop as well. Please enquire about this on contact form.
Refreshments like tea and coffee can be provided for a minimal fee. We also have a short break for lunch where you can either bring your own or use one of the food outlets close by.
I have made this class slightly longer because we have found that the normal duration of 6 hours for a workshop can be a little bit short to get everything done properly. Naturally if you finish early on the day you can leave earlier or you might want to go through some questions that you have at the end.
