WQ Carbon Crafty Hammer | Premium Carbon Fiber PDR Hammer & Knockdown Paddle

A Next-Generation Upgrade to a PDR Classic

The WQ Carbon Crafty Hammer from Willey Quick Tools redefines what a Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) hammer should be. Inspired by the trusted Craftsman-style hammer used for decades in the industry, we took that foundation and rebuilt it with modern materials, professional balance, and dual-purpose versatility.

Now available with both Anodized Aluminum Tips and Stainless Steel Tips, the Carbon Crafty Hammer offers PDR technicians more striking options and customization than ever before. Whether you prefer the lighter, responsive feel of anodized aluminum or the solid, hard-driving precision of stainless steel, this hammer adapts to your workflow.

Weighing in at just 6.7 ounces, it combines a carbon fiber body, anodized aluminum head, and ergonomic rubber ball handle for unmatched control and reduced fatigue.

Two Tools in One: Hammer and Paddle

The Carbon Crafty Hammer isn’t just a hammer—it’s a multi-function PDR solution designed to serve as both a hammer and a knockdown paddle.

Hammer Mode

When you need direct, controlled strikes, the hammer’s dual-face design gives you flexibility:

  • Square flat striking face delivers solid impact with confidence.

  • Rubber Cush Face provides a softer, forgiving strike where surface safety is critical.

Paddle Mode

When precision matters most, flip the hammer around and use it as a paddle for knockdown work. This lets you strike your knockdown tool with control and finesse, pushing down high spots and refining repairs without swapping tools.

This dual-purpose setup saves time, simplifies workflow, and ensures smoother, faster repairs on every panel.

Now with Interchangeable Tip Options

We’ve expanded the versatility of the Carbon Crafty Hammer with two professional-grade tip options:

  • Anodized Aluminum Tips – Lightweight, responsive, and excellent for finesse work. Perfect for detail-oriented PDR techs who prefer speed and precision.

  • Stainless Steel Tips – Heavier, stronger, and ideal for harder pushes or deeper metal movement. Built for techs who need maximum striking force and durability.

Both options are fully interchangeable, allowing you to swap out tips to suit the job, environment, or personal preference.

Carbon Fiber Body – Strength Without the Weight

The Carbon Crafty Hammer’s carbon fiber construction provides incredible rigidity while keeping the overall weight down. This gives you the same striking power as heavier hammers but with far less fatigue during long repair sessions.

  • Lightweight carbon fiber tubing minimizes hand and wrist strain

  • Reinforced structure resists bending or vibration

  • Maintains precision balance during fast-paced work

For hail techs and mobile professionals, that means better control and more endurance through long repair days.

Premium Anodized Aluminum Head

The hammer head is machined from anodized aluminum for strength, corrosion resistance, and a professional finish. It features:

  • A square flat face for strong, direct hits

  • A soft Cush Face for delicate or layered strikes

  • Threaded tip ports compatible with standard PDR tips

The head’s durable anodized coating resists wear while maintaining a sleek, clean look through years of use.

Carbon Cush Caps & Interchangeable Tips

Each hammer comes with Carbon Cush Caps preinstalled on the dome-shaped tips. These specialized caps provide a dense but forgiving contact surface, reducing the risk of surface marring while maintaining full striking control.

Compatible with standard PDR tip threads, you can install your favorite tips for specialized work, from fine-tuning hail dents to hard push applications.

Ergonomic Rubber Ball Handle

The rubber ball handle is more than comfort—it’s about control. It keeps the hammer secure in your grip while maintaining balance across the entire swing.

  • Non-slip grip for all working conditions

  • Reduces vibration and hand fatigue

  • Keeps hammer balanced and steady during fast transitions

Every movement feels natural and controlled, making this handle design a favorite among professionals who value accuracy and efficiency.

Built for Daily Professional Use

The Carbon Crafty Hammer was made for technicians who rely on their tools every day. It’s balanced, lightweight, and durable enough to handle years of heavy use without wearing down or losing its edge.

Every detail—from the carbon body to the cushioned tip design—was made with input from real PDR pros. The result is a hammer that performs like a high-end instrument while still being tough enough for the daily grind.

Key Features

  • Choice of Tips – Anodized Aluminum or Stainless Steel

  • Carbon Fiber Body – Ultra-lightweight and durable

  • Dual-Purpose Design – Functions as both hammer and paddle

  • Precision Balance – Reduces fatigue and improves control

  • Cushion-Faced Tip – Protects surfaces during delicate work

  • Standard Tip Compatibility – Works with most PDR tip styles

  • Ergonomic Handle – Rubberized ball design for comfort and accuracy

Perfect For

  • Hail Repair Technicians – Ideal for fast-paced, repetitive work.

  • Door Ding Specialists – Provides unmatched control for detail work.

  • Mobile PDR Techs – Lightweight, versatile, and easy to transport.

  • Shops – A single hammer that replaces two tools on your bench.

Usage Tips

  • Use anodized aluminum tips for lighter, faster strikes.

  • Switch to stainless steel tips when working tougher metals or deeper dents.

  • Strike your knockdown using the paddle side for smoother flattening.

  • Rotate tips to match different surfaces and damage types.

Built by Willey Quick Tools

At WilleyQuick Tools, we believe innovation starts with understanding the technician. Every product we build is tested, refined, and optimized for real-world performance—and the Carbon Crafty Hammer is no exception.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
