Description:
The BM9-XTG6 kit features an Xtreme pressure plate designed for the most demanding drivers. ACT Xtreme pressure plates utilize an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life. All diaphragms undergo a four-stage, heat-treating process for unparalleled performance. Precision cover stampings provide rigidity and consistency.
Paired with ACT's 6-pad spring-centered race disc, featuring a spring-center construction to properly damp torsional vibrations and resist failure under harsh conditions. ACT spring retainers provide spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability. Engagement with the 6-pad spring-centered race disc is harsher, but shifting is faster. Recommended for larger clutch sizes to absorb more heat.
