We live in a time when a great many voices are calling for a spiritual renewal to address the problems that face humanity, yet the way of entheogens--one of the oldest and most widespread means of attaining a religious experience--is forbidden, surrounded by controversy and misunderstanding. Widely employed in traditional shamanic societies, entheogens figure prominently in the origins of religion and their use continues today throughout the world. They alter consciousness in such a profound way that, depending on the set and setting, they can produce the ultimate human experiences: union with God or revelation of other mystical realities.
With contributions by Albert Hofmann, Terence McKenna, Ann and Alexander Shulgin, Thomas Riedlinger, Dale Pendell, and Rick Strassman as well as interviews with R. Gordon Wasson and Jack Kornfield, this book explores ancient and modern uses of psychedelic drugs, emphasizing the complementary relationship between science and mystical experience and the importance of psychedelics to the future of religion and society. Revealing the mystical-religious possibilities of substances such as psilocybin mushrooms, mescaline, and LSD, this book exposes the vital need for developing an organized spiritual context for their use in order to fully realize their transformative and sacred value. Stressing the importance of academic and religious freedom, the authors call for a revival of scientific and religious inquiry into entheogens so they may be used safely and legally by those seeking to cultivate their spiritual awareness.

Keeps my pets very comfortable.

I purchased the 4-pack for my four pets, and they absolutely loved them! The cooling mats are soft, lightweight, and really do stay cool, which has been perfect for the warmer weather. I placed them on their beds, car seats, and favorite lounging spots, and every one of my pets took to them right away.
I also love that they’re portable, washable, and made with a nice quality material that feels durable while still being comfortable. The purple fish design is adorable too! Definitely a great purchase for pet owners looking to help keep their furry babies cool and comfortable during the summer. Highly recommend!

Make your cat happy

My cat loves this. She was always moving from spot to spot looking for a cooler place to lie. When I put this pad down, she got on it and stays there for long periods of time. The pad is actually cooler than I thought it might be. Good product.

Cool to the touch.

If definitely feels cool to the touch although still have doubts about ability to cool my dogs. I have not trained my dogs to lay on it so I’m not sure if they know how to use the cooling pads but I do see my one dog lay on it from time to time so perhaps it is effective, not sure. Cooling pad slips and it folds ups because there is no grip on the bottom side. It feels smooth and soft to the touch because of the fabric on the outside. I plan on brining it in my dog stroller in the summer and should be better than having no cooling pad. Although not as cool as an ice pack, this cooling pad doesn’t require refrigeration and always stays cool to the touch and no condensation. Not sure if it’s worth the money for the price because not sure if it works. A four pack for $32 seems reasonable but not sure if it’s worth it.

A summer cooling mat full of endless possibilities! Kitty 🐈⬛ imagination highly required! It’s apparently somewhat better than a large empty Amazon box! Beau highly recommends it!

I purchased the medium sized cooling mat for my chunkster grey tux Beau who at first snoop, didn’t like it. After carefully flopping him on top of it and made stupid sounds, he inevitably decided to actually try it his way thus (while not a box) liked it. I was surprised that after two weeks the mat was still cool and scratch-free from his murder mittens. While he does flop on the mat from time to time, he enjoys dragging it, flipping it in a viscous cycle of who-knows what the heck is going on his mind! Either way, if I could give it 9/10 stars I would as the instructions fails to inform user of a highly kitty imagination is required. No worries tho! Beau figured this out two days into flopping on top of it.
