The model number for the lightweight rubber feet designed for this compact, run-and-gun carbon fiber leg set is the Libec FP-1B Rubber Foot Pads (sold as a set of three).

Because the RT20C is a highly specialized, ultra-lightweight two-stage carbon fiber tripod weighing only three point five pounds (one point six kilograms), its matching feet are designed to provide maximum surface traction without adding unnecessary bulk or weight to your travel rig.

Core Features & Mechanics

  • Streamlined Snap-On Design: Unlike the heavier mechanical flip-lock assemblies found on larger broadcast tripods, the FP-1B utilizes heavy-duty elastic safety wrap bands. These loop tightly over the molded leg anchors just above the bottom spikes, keeping the feet anchored to the legs when lifting the tripod out of deep mud, wet sand, or thick grass.

  • Slick-Surface Studio Traction: The undersides of these pads are molded with a flat, high-friction, cross-hatched tread pattern. This surface layout provides a reliable grip on slick indoor environments like polished concrete, corporate staging, gymnasiums, and studio floors where bare metal spikes would slip or cause surface damage.

  • Spreader-Free Isolation: These feet are primarily intended to be used when configuring your RT20C tripod with a mid-level spreader (such as the BR-2B). Because a mid-level spreader lifts the lower stabilization struts off the ground, the FP-1B pads serve as the standalone point of contact ensuring your carbon legs stay stable and scratch-free.

Operational System Tips for the FP-1B:

💡 The Floor Spreader Transition: If your production shifts from an outdoor mid-level tracking setup to a flat floor environment using a ground-level floor spreader (like the Libec SP-2B), you must pull off the FP-1B rubber pads. The SP-2B floor spreader features its own specialized, rigid anchoring cups meant to lock onto the bare, tapered metal leg spikes directly. Leaving the rubber feet on will prevent the lower spikes from seating securely into the ground spreader's retention pins.

  • Preventing Trapped Moisture: When shooting exteriors on damp grass or wet soil, remove the rubber feet before packing the tripod into its transport case. Soil and moisture can get trapped inside the internal spike cavities of the rubber molding; a quick fresh-water rinse and air dry prevents hidden grit from scoring the lower metal spike assemblies over time.

Durable

Even my monster hasn't been able to chew through these in a few months, and he has destroyed one of the black Kongs in the same time frame.

Tough to destroy for aggressive chewers
Color: Wrench, Size: 8 Inch
My doggie chewed out stairscase, the sofa, my shoes, and would destroy anything labeled pet “tough” toys. This stopped her from destroying!! Soo cool and cleans her teeth too. I got this one as gift for other retriever fams! Super cool. Doesn’t smell bad and its lightweight but durable like crazy.

Great Toy for Chewers!
Color: Hammer, Size: 7 Inch
This is one of my dog’s favorite toys! He will chew on it for hours. It is durable and takes him a while to make it indistinguishable as a hammer. No smell to it. The rubber bits do come off so I have to check it and make sure he doesn’t eat them.
