I recently tried out the TKDMR Heat Shrink Tubing, and it has proven to be a game-changer in my cable management endeavors! One of the best features of the heat shrink tubing is its ease of application. The tubing is remarkably pliable, easy to cut and straightforward to work with. The simple process involves sliding the tubing over the cable and applying heat, whether from a heat gun, lighter or even a hairdryer! The tubing quickly shrinks snugly around the cable, providing a tight and professional-looking finish. Even for those new to DIY cable management, the learning curve is minimal.

I was pleasantly surprised by the versatility of this heat shrink tubing. It accommodated various cable sizes and shapes, making it a versatile solution for a range of applications. Whether dealing with computer cables, audio cords, electrical box wiring or even small electronic components, the tubing adapted to the different sizes seamlessly. The only slight drawback is that extreme size differences between cables might require different tubing sizes for an optimal fit, This tubing is rather large, but shrinks very small when done carefully. I have fixed many action figures and dinosaurs' broken arms to the delight of my son!

Once applied, the heat shrink tubing forms a durable and resilient layer around the cables. It provides an added layer of thick protection against water, wear/tear, etc. safeguarding cables from potential damage due to friction, bending, or exposure. Best heat shrink tubing on the market
Stop buying the kits with multi sized heat shrink tubes. Don’t buy the 5’-10’ pieces that arrive folded up and as thin as scotch tape. This stuff is nice and thick, it shrinks evenly, and my favorite, it is lined with glue on the interior. This is a 65 foot roll of 3:1, high quality heat shrink tubing. I will never go back to the kits that say 400 pieces and 300 of those pieces are only big enough to heat shrink some thread or a strand of hair. I have purchased 2 sizes and I use it 3-4 times per week and I don’t think I’ll ever run out. This is one of my favorite discoveries of 2023. Before buying a kit, think about how many sizes you really need. I can do all of my AC 120v and DC 12v wiring, which consists of 4-5 sizes of wire, and I only need 2 sizes of heat shrink tube for all of it. It’s oddly satisfying to watch this stuff shrink and see the glue squeeze out of the ends. Definitely ASMR.
