The Mayor of MacDougal Street shines in a 1998 performance. It's hard to believe the influence one man can have on an enormous variety of music and styles. Dave Van Ronk was one of those men. While regarded as a pioneer of the folk-blues movement which took over Greenwich Village in the late 1950's, he could not be tied to just one genre. He moved between ballads to jazz to rock. His finger picking style of guitar playing is still studied and emulated. And in 1998 after fifty years of performing music, Van Ronk was still mesmerizing crowds. Recorded at Carleton Hall in California, LIVE IN MONTEREY works as both a retrospective and an introduction to the work of Dave Van Ronk. The 16 tracks move from traditional numbers to blues classic to originals, and touch on every aspect of what makes Dave Van Ronk revered by musicians of every generation. Just Dave, his voice, and his guitar. That's all that is needed. Beautifully packaged in a full-color digipak and including liner notes from set co-producer Rick Chelew (who recorded the set) and folk legend Happy Traum, LIVE IN MONTEREY is a release that helps solidify what many already know-there was only one Dave Van Ronk.

Seems Very Durable So Far

My dogs are really enjoying these chew toys! These keep them busy for hours!! So far they seem very durable and my little dogs can really chew and destroy so I’m happy about these so far! They rarely each chew a toy at the same time, but choose to take turns instead. But now they each have a chew toy and they are happy campers!!

The only chew toy that has actualy held up...for well over 2 years!

These things are amazing! They last forever even with dogs that can destroy nearly everything else in mins! I ordered these as a doggie Xmas gift over TWO YEARS AGO, and they are still pretty much fully intact! They chew on them all the time, too!(see pics; that's over two years of steady use!) I only got the one 4 pack, and have 4 dogs, too!
Since making them so well does kind of reduce my ability to buy many more from them, I feel I should at least let people know they really are crazy durable and dogs love them! I will prob buy another 4 pack soon, just so they are easier to find(end up under couches,etc). Def a good buy!!!!
