Cavell recounts his journey from early childhood in Atlanta, Georgia, through musical studies at UC Berkeley and Julliard, his subsequent veering off into philosophy at UCLA, his Ph.D. studies at Harvard, and his half century of teaching. Influential people from various fields figure prominently or in passing over the course of this memoir. J.L. Austin, Ernest Bloch, Roger Sessions, Thomas Kuhn, Robert Lowell, Rogers Albritton, Seymour Shifrin, John Rawls, Bernard Williams, W. V. O. Quine, and Jacques Derrida are no longer with us; but Cavell also pays homage to the living: Michael Fried, John Harbison, Rose Mary Harbison, Kurt Fischer, Milton Babbitt, Thompson Clarke, John Hollander, Hilary Putnam, Sandra Laugier, Belle Randall, and Terrence Malick. The drift of his narrative also registers the decisiveness of the relatively unknown and the purely accidental. Cavell's life has produced a trail of some eighteen published books that range from treatments of individual writers like Wittgenstein, Austin, Emerson, Thoreau, Heidegger, Shakespeare, and Beckett to studies in aesthetics, epistemology, moral and political philosophy, cinema, opera, and religion.Binding Type: Hardcover

Great glitter body spray

So cute. Came with extra glitter, I’m assuming lipgloss you can make into glitter lipgloss, a funnel to help pour the glitter. Or re load your spray. The spray performance is nice. Might stick better with some oil before hand? But I like it so far. Worked 6 hours and still had glitter on me for my photoshoot. I sprayed perfume and then glitter. There’s no odor. The amount of quantity of glitter you get seems good for the price. Durability seems good so far but like I said may need some oil or lotion first to help it stick all day.

Glitter with staying power

Super fun and sparkly, the color is beautiful, it comes with 2 glue tubes with brushes that you use to rub the glue onto your skin in order for the sparkle to stick better and longer, made a heart shape on my arm, dries fairly quickly and washes off easily when you're done with it
It sprays a fine layer and evenly, it's great for building on for more sparkle or to just have a light layer
Even without the glue it lasts at least a couple hours with minimal shedding and light use, seems to have good longevity
With 2 glue tubes, a refill tub, funnel and the glitter spray bottle I feel $10 is a great value considering everything you get with it, Overall I feel like it's a fantastic product and will buy again!
