Most lip balms and lip gloss on the market use petroleum byproducts or chemically made ingredients as base oil, and then add in all kinds of artificial colorings and fragrance. Other chemicals are often added as well, such as microcrystalline waxes, hydrogenated oils, chemically made sunscreen, artificial coloring and preservatives. Since most products on the market are chemically made with all these additives, they are not natural enough, and there might be some heavy metal residuals remain. They are good quality, no signs of rusting or flaking, & are built very sturdy. The measurements are a little inaccurate due to the tapered edges from bottom to top, so it may not fit as expected which happened in my case. The attachment edges don’t pair to other brands of organizers well so don’t expect them to stay attached. Nonetheless, worth the money for its need.
