Throughout the chronicle of Britain's history, one factor above all others has determined the fate of kings, the security of trade, and the integrity of the realm. Without its navy, Britain would have been a weakling among the nations of Europe, could never have built or maintained the empire, and in all likelihood would have been overrun by the armies of Napoleon and Hitler. Now, for the first time in nearly a century, a prominent naval historian has undertaken a comprehensive account of the history and traditions of this most essential institution. N. A. M. Rodger has produced a superb work, combining scholarship with narrative, that demonstrates how the political and social history of Britain has been inextricably intertwined with the strength-or weakness-of her seapower. From the early military campaigns against the Vikings to the defeat of the great Spanish Armada in the reign of Elizabeth I, this volume touches on some of the most colorful characters in British history. It also provides fascinating details on naval construction, logistics, health, diet, and weaponry. "A splendid book. It combines impressively detailed research with breadth of perception.... Rodger] has prepared an admirable historical record that will be read and reread in the years ahead." Times London]"Binding Type: Paperback

Good quality wine cart.
Very sturdy bar cart and well made. Product came well packaged, with good instructions and even some extra screws. It is helpful to have 2 people putting it together. The only downside is the wine rack will not hold fatter bottles of wine but I added a small wine rack to the top.

Very nice cart.
The cart is very functional and relatively easy to put together. I was also provided a great tip on the assembly that made it much easier.

Very nice product. Not that difficult to put together. I did it by myself just following the instructions exactly. Have gotten compliments from my friends. Fits a lot.
Would definitely recommend. Nicely designed.

Pleasantly surprised!
The cart is super-sturdy, easy to assemble, and looks surprisingly nice. You would think that the “wood” (the rustic oak) on this cart would look hideous, but it’s not - and it looks good with the black metal.
Just make sure you have your own tools, like a screw driver with a 4 mm hex bit or an impact driver or screw driver with a 4 mm hex bit; it would take way too long with the supplied hex wrench, which although a good quality, is just too slow to use.)
