Erwitt, Elliott: - Elliott Erwitt, who was born in Paris in 1928 to Russian parents, came to the U.S. in the late 1930s. After establishing himself as a magazine photographer over the next decade and a half, he joined the renowned Magnum photo agency in 1953. In addition to his work for magazines, he also had great success as an advertising photographer. Until his death in December 2023 he lived in New York
