TIGA / NO FANTASY REQUIRED - COUNTER RECORDS - There's always been a fertile creative tension at the heart of Tiga's music: on the one hand he's the underground techno don, on the other, there's a pop sensibility that enables him to write great songs. It's this duality that makes him one of electronic music's most engaging characters. He's about as far from your faceless techno DJ as it's possible to get. In his illustrious career, he's remixed LCD Soundsystem, Depeche Mode, Coldcut, The XX and Moby, among many others. He has used his Turbo label to break new acts like Duke Dumont, Chromeo, Gesaffelstein and Boyz Noize. In addition, he has frequently collaborated with luminaries such as James Murphy, Pusha T and, on No Fantasy Required, Hudson Mohawke and Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters. Now, working with key producer Matthew Dear, and Finnish wizard Jori Hulkkonen (who also performs with him live), Tiga has made a record on which he says he feels "more honest, open and playful." No Fantasy Required is a collection of inspired songs that just happen to be delivered via visceral dance music. It's an album with songs and real character, one also packed with instant bangers. No fantasy is required both because this is an honest, open, playful record and also because it provides all the fantasy you could need.

Nice, BUT a few mounting holes would have made it 5 stars!

These seem to be fine but since I have to use this to hold a power brick to a wood joist which is NOT smooth, the included adhesive back is not something that will hold securely! I ended up have to screw two wafer head screws through the rubber backing and into the joist to hold the holder to the wood joist securely. If they put some thought into the design, it would have been nice, if they had incorporated a few mounting holes, which would have taken care if this being mounted to items that are not smooth such as a wood joist or other rough surfaces!

Great for a gaming laptop!

Great product is you want to mount any size laptop under your desk. I used it for my Alienware gaming laptop and it's fantastic! The three points of contact hold the laptop securely, while allowing maximum airflow for the fans. The three "clamps" are rock solid and will definitely outlive the laptop. The installation was simple and easy, just need a drill.

under desk laptop system

Reclaimed real desk space with this one. The mount holds the laptop securely underneath without any vibration or creaking and the installation required no drilling — clamped cleanly to the desk edge. The ventilation spacing is generous enough that thermals stay reasonable even under load. Works with a solid range of laptop sizes and the adjustment mechanism is easy to use. If your laptop spends most of its time docked this is the cleanest way to get it out of the way.

Works great, but pads are peeling.

Works for what I needed, which was to mount my work laptop to the side of my desk. However, the rubber pads started peeling the first day. I tried clamping them down overnight, but they still ended up peeling up. They haven't come off completely and are still working, though. I may have to glue them down.
