In the interest of saving time when building motorcycles, the TC Brothers developed an array of useful bungs for common fabrication tasks. The modest cost of these sissy bar mounting bungs is generally offset by the massive time savings builders experience, allowing one to move on to other parts of your project that are often a little more satisfying than standing at the lathe for hours.
These bungs are a good way to step up our DIY Sissy Bar Kits. Select 1/2" bungs for standard height, and 5/8" if you're using one of the tall options. Looking for something a little more akin to a fender support with no sissy? The 1/2" bung mates up beautifully to the axle end of our DIY Fender Strut Kits.
It's OK to sweat the small stuff—details matter. And this is a detail that will look pretty slick on your motorcycle.
