The KanexPro HDSC71D-4K is a high-performance, 7-input presentation scaler-switcher designed to streamline collaboration in conference rooms, classrooms, and huddle spaces. This robust system brings native 4K capability to both input and output, enabling presenters to connect a wide range of sources—laptops, media players, cameras, and more—and display them on big screens with crystal clarity. Featuring 4x HDMI inputs, 1x DisplayPort, 1x DVI-I, and 1x VGA/YPbPr input, it accommodates modern digital sources while still supporting legacy connection options. With two mirrored outputs—HDMI and HDBaseT—it ensures flexible distribution to local displays and remote displays or projectors across a room or building, so everyone in the audience sees the same content in perfect alignment.

  • Extensive input flexibility — 7 input ports including 4x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort, 1x DVI-I, and 1x VGA/YPbPr. This mix supports both current high-definition devices and older analog sources, simplifying integration in mixed environments.
  • Dual mirrored outputs for seamless distribution — HDMI and HDBaseT outputs mirror the same presentation signal, enabling a direct feed to a local monitor as well as a distant display or projector without separate wiring or sync issues.
  • Native 4K presentation and scaling — The system processes native 4K video for crisp images and smooth text rendering, with built-in scaling to fit displays of varying resolutions while preserving detail and quality across content types.
  • Intuitive Click-to-Show Me Controller — A dedicated control interface lets presenters switch sources quickly and confidently, reducing downtime during meetings and enabling on-the-fly screen selections with a simple, tactile workflow.
  • Effortless room collaboration and control — Designed for collaborative environments, this KanexPro switcher supports straightforward setup, reliable EDID handling, and streamlined management of multiple sources, making it ideal for education, corporate, and rental applications.

  • Video processing: Native 4K input and output capable with scalable presentation features. The device is designed to preserve image fidelity while adapting content to the target display resolution.
  • Control and integration: Includes an integrated Click-to-Show Me Controller for rapid source selection, along with on-device controls and compatibility with standard AV control setups for room automation and monitoring.

How to install KanexPro HDSC71D-4K

  • Plan your layout: Position the scaler-switcher at an accessible rack shelf or tabletop area where the Click-to-Show Me Controller can be easily reached by presenters and technicians. Ensure there is ample ventilation and cable management to minimize heat and clutter.
  • Connect sources: Attach your sources to the available inputs. For example, connect laptops and meeting room PCs to the HDMI inputs, a media player to HDMI, a presentation PC to DisplayPort, and any legacy equipment to DVI-I or VGA/YPbPr as needed.
  • Wiring to displays: Run an HDMI cable from the HDMI mirrored output to the local display. Use the HDBaseT output for long-distance routing to a projector or distant monitor, ensuring the receiving device supports HDBaseT or a compatible receiver kit.
  • Power and control connections: Plug the KanexPro unit into a reliable power source. If you use room control systems, integrate the controller with the facility’s control system via the recommended interface (LAN/IR/RS-232) as provided in the user manual.
  • Configure settings: Power on the system and use the on-device controls or the Click-to-Show Me Controller to test each input. Adjust EDID, aspect ratio, and any scaling preferences to suit the room’s displays. Save preferred scenes or presets for common meeting setups to speed up future use.
  • Test collaboration flow: With all devices connected, run a quick test session. Have a presenter switch between sources, check audio routing (if applicable), and verify that content lines up correctly on both the local and remote displays. Fine-tune color, brightness, and alignment as needed for optimal legibility.

Good buy and good replacement for stock
I can’t keep these on my UTV, so it’s good to find a reasonably priced alternative.

Definitely keeps your hands warm !!
Color: Black
These fit nicely on a H.D. Road King. If you bike has heated grips you can drive in 30 deg F weather with only a thin pair of leather gloves. Update: They kept our hands toasty with the heaters on Level 2 and just wearing a thin pair of leather gloves (for grip) while riding in temps down in the low 30's, high 20's. I would definitely recommend these... the photo in the ad is pretty indicative of how they fit on handlebars. They're really designed for ATV's that have no turn signal lamps on the handlebars. Without modification, they do cover the handlebar mounted turn signals on a Sportster, but not on a Roadking. The draw string that seals the mittens around the handlebar could have a more positive grip to stay closed... we wound up double tying it around bar and that works great. The thing we like most aside from how warm they are (the lining feels great)... is that the cuffs are fairly rigid and don't collapse when you take you hands out (like the photo) which makes it super easy to pull you hands out and put 'em back in again. That's really important at a stop light, but even more important when flying down the road at highway speeds... you just can't afford to be fooling around trying to thread your hands and a coat sleeve back into mittens that are limp and flop down closed when you take you hands out... I hope this help... be safe !!

If your hands are cold or wet after knowing these handlebar covers exist, well, that’s on you.
Color: Black
These atv gloves, mitts, handlebar covers, whatever you want to call them are a fantastic value. I was honestly surprised at the quality of construction. They have a soft comfortable cotton lining that seems to really hold heat from your hands. The cordura outside is super strong and the seams are very well done. There is a zip along the inside bend to allow for expansion over bigger controls to to allow for use with heavier gloves. (Just leave it unzipped) The draw string to tighten and secure the end to the handlebar is easily to operate and keeps everything snug and in place. It takes about 5 seconds to put each side on or take off. The draw string on the covers is about 5 times longer than necessary and I ended up cutting a foot or so off. The down side of these is how snug a fit they have to the contour of the handlebars and controls. The material is pretty stiff, so you have to be careful. I was getting back on my Polaris 570 after stopping and I typically just leave my fourwheeler in high, so when I leaned forward on my handlebars the covers were stiff enough to push my throttle. Thank goodness nothing was in front of me, or was around to witness my panic. Ha. If I turn to sharply I have to be mindful of the material pressing against my hand and thus the throttle. It does Unzip at the elbow of the covers, but the seams are so stiff there is still resistance. I wish there was a softer material at the hand and bend, however the rigidity really makes it easy to slide your hands/arms (5’8” with alligator arms and they just about come to my elbows) in and out easily, even with a heavy coat. They are indeed 100 waterproof, as unfortunately tested on 2 occasions. They are 112% windproof and I can comfortably ride all day at 35-40 degrees with no gloves(I live in west Alabama so sub 40 degrees is cold for me.) They have been an absolute game changer for the early morning drive in at the hunting club. They are a little stiff for sharp turns on wooded trails, but I expect they will soften with use. Be mindful of the throttle and KNOW YOUR CONTROLS as they will be covered, but do yourself a favor and get these. If your hands are cold driving your fourwheeler after knowing these exist, well, it’s your own fault.
