2017 release. Morning Star marks 20 years since the release of Underground And Beyond in 1997, and also celebrates twenty great years together for Lucifer Was and Record Heaven/Transubstans Records. For the occasion, the complete original 1972 line-up that recorded Underground And Beyond and the follow-up, In Anadi's Bower, is featured throughout, in addition to the present version of the band. Morning Star contains seven tracks and includes stand-outs like the hard energy blaster, 'A Forest Of Zaqqum Trees', 'Sunday Morning Griever', which shows Thore Engen's genius as a songwriter and lyricist, and the 15:25 long heavy/prog/blues/psych/space-masterpiece 'Pure', co-written by Engen and singer Jon Ruder. This piece also has a distinct Nordic feel to it. The two-drummer attack is very present on this colossus of a composition! One special feature is 'Sea Of Sleep', the only ever co-written track by Engen and flautist/singer Dag Stenseng. A more rudimentary version of this song was a staple in the band's 1972-1974 live repertoire. The title Morning Star is synonymous with "The Bringer Of Light a.k.a. Lucifer" and can be seen shining strongest of all in the firmament. It is the planet Venus.

The Air & Space Museum is a national treasure.
Format: Hardcover
This is one of those books that makes you wish you were there. Lots of pictures and tidbits of information. A good quality book physically as well. We get their magazine and this is one of many books we have both from and about the museum. Highly Recommended.

Great photo essay, history of aviation and space
i'm an engineer- worked rocket motors, and various satellite programs. this book was recommended by associate after visiting the museum at Langley. The pics are super, with short descriptions, and moderate on the tech. It's an amazing pulse of this wild history, and mostly is from America's lineage. St. Louis, Mercury, Atlas, and up to current Shuttle. There's also the SST, and unique turn of the century early birds. A fine read to be shared with a youngster (my son 10, digs it), or for the history or engineering buff. amazon has it cheaper than at the museum.

Essential reading for PowerPoint presenters.
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Cliff shows details how to improve our PowerPoint presentations. He gives concrete and simple steps to transform a message into a targeted presentation. All of us have suffered from presenters who went over their allotted time because they had vital information to give us, yet we still didn't know their main point. Many have seen slide decks burdened with dozens of bullet points. Did the volume of points yield more clarity or did they dull our ability to focus on the message? Probably not. Read Cliff's book. Follow his method and you'll be a more effective presenter.

Useful with some scientific corroboration
Format: Paperback
Worth it as a primer to slide content and how it inter-relates to the delivery when giving a presentation. Very slightly laboured, like most TV documentaries nowadays - you feel they could move a bit faster (...yeah we got it the first time).

This book rocks! It provide a simple and structured way to define, develop and deliver a "Kick Ass" presentation that you can project or just use from the podium. It bring the audio and visual together to compliment a story to be shared. It has taken the hassel factor out of designing a presentation for anyone on any subject. Thank you!
