The Yamaha YAS-875EX, popularly known as the Custom EX, the YAS-875EX has a sweet and focused timbre with easy intonation that is perfect for sectional blending. Its stress-free keywork and low-register playability make it an outstanding horn for jazz soloing, and a solid feel with quick and nimble action make it a great horn for any working musician. At home with all kinds of music, the YAS-875EX is a perfect canvas for painting your own tonal colors. It has a wide dynamic range, excellent projection and an authoritative sound with a well-defined core.
Design and construction elements
The 875EX is constructed of imported French brass, a lighter alloy than the annealed yellow brass used in the YAS-62III. It features fully ribbed construction, with wider ribs than either of its sister horns, making for deeper vibrations and a darker tonal profile. It has a hand-hammered body, bell and neck, and its new engraving design is likewise done by hand, instilling an enchanting unrepeatability into each instrument.
Relative to the original Yamaha Custom alto, the size and shape of the Custom EX yellow brass key buttons have been changed to what for many is a better feel. The key buttons themselves are best-quality mother of pearl, which adds to the instrument’s striking appearance and satisfying action. The new Yamaha TE1 neck design enhances the horn’s tonal resonance and offers a quicker, more comfortable response. The neck’s core tone is compact with great projection.
Free-blowing feel, fully adjustable
The Yamaha YAS-875EX has an even bore, which contributes to its free-blowing feel, and its two-point bell brace makes for better efficiency. Hard steel springs offer a fast, sensitive key response. Many players are delighted at how accessible challenging passages suddenly become with the Custom EX alto saxophone.
Multiple key posts are integrated into a single plate, which lends the horn moderate resistance while at the same time delivering a solid core with deep tone color. It has an adjustable Front F key along with a high F# key and an adjustable thumb rest. The adjustable Front F gives the player freedom to find the optimal level of resistance in the altissimo range. Yamaha’s design and manufacturing experience and expertise reflect the best in modern musical instrument manufacturing, and all of it is present in the YAS-875EX.

100% worth it - I recommend to EVERYONE
I've seen coworkers and instructors using folding screens behind them for video calls since the pandemic started, and I finally gave in and purchased this one. I freaking LOVE it. I love that I can be on a video call and not have to worry about the angle of my laptop or having people 'in' my home while I'm at work. It's so nice. I may eventually buy and deconstruct a wall hanging to create some colorful fabric panels instead of the brown, but (and I say this as NOT a brown fabric-lover) the brown looks pretty nice. It's a very dark brown, and it serves as completely neutral while still feeling a bit warm.
- No need for tools to assemble, even though it says screwdriver.
- One thing: I thought it would fold up flat, and it does NOT fold up flat. Important to know. I just keep it folded up into a 16.5" (grabbed a tape measure to check) square column by my desk and unfold whenever I have video conferences.
If you can't tell, I really like having this thing around. 100% recommend and would buy again.

it's a utility screen

It's a basic, utilitarian screen. It's what I expected it to be. Assembly isn't hard, but it does require two people when stretching the fabric between the poles. I got it to use in a closet to separate the water heater from the washer/dryer, so it'll be perfect for that. Pros: it's opaque and tall (my 6'4" husband can't see over it unless he is standing against it) and I like the ability for the three pieces to stand separately of each other. Cons: it's flimsy. It wobbles and will tip over easily.

Cheap, screw holes don't line up, screen is to short, and bars take WD-40 and a mallet
This has been my worst purchase on Amazon ever. DO NOT BUY. My first issue was that bars #4 and #5 would not go together, I ended up buying WD-40 and a mallet and that kind of got them together. Now I went to but the screen on (which is almost see thought) and the screen is to short. I can't attached the bottom bar to the tall bar. The screw hole is in the wrong spot, so the screen is not secure. No amount of pulling on the screen will make it grown .25" longer. Since I can't get the bars secure the walls are not steady and fall over easily. The feet did go together very nice. I can't return them according to Amazons policy. I bought 2 sets. I'm not going to try to build the other set I have. And I can't take apart the first set, since the bars are so tightly together. Also the polls have rust on them.

Very Poor Built Quality

They use cheap tarp like cloth that you might find on a tent, so it is not suitable as a teleconferencing background without blur applied. The legs are flimsy and lack rubber feet, so it will scratch floors. The tubing is flimsy and very hard to move and adjust. This is only good if you are setting it up somewhere like a gym or a garage.
