With evident influences from traditional Black/Thrash mixed with eccentric embellishments, Abigail's sound is anchored by bassist Yasuyuki and drummer Youhei, while former guitarist Yasunori's contributions bring a searing, off-kilter Black Metal element to the album. Even after more than 20 years, "Intercourse and Lust" remains an essential release for fans of the genre, featuring lyrics written by Chuck Keller (Order From Chaos, Vulpecula, Ares Kingdom) and a nod to Yakuza culture in the closing track "Hail Yakuza."
