In the Ngorongoro Crater of Tanzania, a remarkable tale of survival unfolds. Here, elephants find their final sanctuary. Born with six sets of four molars, when the last set wears down, an elephant can no longer feed itself. Yet, these intelligent giants have learned to adapt. In the northern reaches of Tanzania, they've discovered that the Crater's vegetation is easier to chew and digest. As a result, it becomes the last refuge for the very old, especially solitary males who have weathered the years. On this fortuitous morning, we encountered a group of six of these grand survivors. Among them, this proud and healthy male stood out, a poignant symbol of endurance in the face of inevitable change. It was a privilege to share a moment with a creature that had witnessed the shifting sands of time.

Notes regarding the prints:  Please note that all unframed prints come with a 1 inch white border on all sides.  This border is included in the sizes of unframed prints, so as an example a 14x20 print consists of a printed area of 12x18 plus 1 inch of white paper on each side.
