It shows very light crazing, but this is hardly worth mentioning as the handle is free of any damage. The silver grip wire is in place and looks terrific. The airplane gray finish on the pommel and crossguard remains intact. The pommel and crossguard show light wear only and have excellent details. The scabbard is also excellent. The scabbard itself has darkened some, and the fittings retain their silver finish with a tone that matches the grip fittings. This gives the dagger a great look. There is finish loss to the sides of the scabbard itself, so please see photos. The scabbard shows no denting. The blade is very good, just the usual in and out runner marks. The crossed key logo for F. Herder AS can be seen just under the crossguard. This example comes complete with a properly tied silver bullion dagger knot that is in very good condition. There is slight bullion loss on the top of the acorn. This dagger is beautiful and worth a second look.
