The Prime RES III is a re-designed version of the Prime RES II model.

The aircraft is available as a Cross-Tail (X-Tail)

The new version has two spoilers, a re-designed fuselage with built in firewall for motor installation, and a completely new wing design, which reduced all up weight and provides better flight characteristics. The wing is a continuous ellipse throughout its span which has provided the model with good stability and forgiving handling during flight.
The model is designed to be an all-round model for weather conditions from low thermals to strong winds. The model has been re-designed and optimized to the last detail and it all came together perfectly. Most importantly, when flying and competing, adjustments can be made quickly in the field.
All parts are laser-cut from carefully selected, high quality balsa and light plywood.
Due to its aerodynamic design and excellent performance, it is very stable and is a joy to fly.

Build Manual

The build manual is focused on the kit version of the Prime and does not contain information regarding Rx, servo or motor installation. It is however a good reference for learning about the aircrafts design. Prime Build Manual

The model is designed and produced for competitions according to FAI F5L RES competition rules.

Compared to the previous version, the new model has several improvements and features, such as:

  • The wing halves now connect on the sides of the fuselage
  • Dihedral in the middle of each wing section for better stability
  • A built in firewall for motor installation
  • A new carbon tail boom which is longer than the previous version
  • The canopy now has a magnetic closure for easier and faster closing - as well as the hatch cover on the bottom of the fuselage

Recommended electric setup:

  • Servo rudder / elevator: EMAX ES08MA II, KST 08,
  • Servo spoiler: EMAX ES9051, KST
  • Powertrain: DualSky XM2225EG-23 1600kv or equivelent
  • ESC: Hobbywing Skywalker 20 Amp or equivelent
  • Battery: 3S 400-600mAh
  • Spinner: 30 mm / 1.18"
  • Prop: 8x5" on 3s

Additional details for each segment of the model can be found below.

Wings:

To achieve better stability the wing was designed with multiple segments. The wing is constructed in two pieces which are connected to the fuselage in the middle.
The wing center panel, mid panel and tip panels all have dihedral for improved stability.

The wing is a continuous ellipse throughout its span which has provided the model with good stability and forgiving handling during flight
The wings are joined with either carbon or steel joiners (ballast) and incorporate pre-sized pins so that everything fits together perfectly.

To ensure strong connections that will transfer loads from the mid panels of the wing into the center panel, angled carbon joiners are used to connect the wing components together.
The kits also includes a carbon tube which is used as main-spar. It is reinforced with kevlar where wing segments are connected.
You also get a CNC cut styrofoam jig for easier wing alignment and glueing.

The main construction of the wings is built with full balsa ribs, plywood for trailing edges and reinforcements are used where needed. Composite materials are used for leading edges and main-spars according to FAI F3 RES rules.
All parts are laser cut and fit together perfectly. There is minimum rework needed, you only have to assemble everything and bond according to the manual.
The center panel design incorporates two separate spoilers with built-in magnets that help perfectly close the spoilers when not activated.

Fuselage:

The fuselage has a nice aerodynamic shape with smooth transitions. Again, all parts are laser cut out of balsa and light plywood.
The fuselage is reinforced in strategic areas with a selection of materials which provide improved strength and stiffness.

The fuselage is adapted for the F5L version, which means it has a built-in firewall on which a 30 mm diameter spinner is mounted.

The canopy is designed in a way that there is enough space to easily install and remove the battery.
To facilitate and optimize the installation of components in the fuselage, we made two canopies. One on the upper side in which the motor, ESC, batteries and receiver are installed, and the other is a hatch on the bottom side under the center of gravity of the model in which the servo motors are installed.
The canopy and hatch are held on with magnets.

The tapered carbon tail-boom is made from several carbon types. The materials are strategically oriented, so the boom has maximum strength and minimum weight.
The tail-boom is predrilled for mounting the rudder/elevator which are disigned using carbon rods as the support mechanism.

Tail:

The tail is also designed to have excellent aerodynamics. It is a construction of laser cut balsa components.
If desired, there is an option to reinforce the elevator/rudder with carbon rectangular rod for stiffness.

The Rudder / elevator has pre-prepared carbon pins which are inserted into drilled tail-boom and is easily mounted to the fuselage.

The carbon tail boom has predrilled holes for mounting the rudder / elevator which contain carbon rods.
The rudder and elevator are detachable for their protection and ease of transport.

Cute and stay on wiggly baby!
Size: 0-3 Months Infant, Color: Ivory Sherpa
Love these boots because they are so cute and stay on my wiggly baby's feet because of the snap that holds them in place. I also like how there are two different snaps to choose from depending on how thick your baby's feet are.

Cozy Robeez
Robeez have always been my go-to baby shoe. They are good quality and a good fit with room to grow. I never go by the month sizing since it really varies for each child. These cozy booties are nice and soft with the same fit as the standard robeez soft sole shoes. These are adjustable with two snaps options to make them tighter or looser.

Prefer over socks!
Size: 12-18 Months Toddler, Color: Pink Sherpa
These are a great option for babies and toddlers that won’t keep their socks on! We wear these all the time- my little girl even takes naps in them sometimes. They are soft and washable and I love that they have the grippies on the bottom now that she’s walking. She doesn’t slip in them even when walking like she does in some socks.

Not anti slip. Baby can't pull off.
Size: 12-18 Months Infant, Color: Light Pink Sherpa
Made and fits well, baby can't really pull them off. The bottom of the bootie is slick not anti slip so baby was sliding everywhere, while trying to walk on hardwood floor.
