The Bullet Blender Lite enables you to homogenize, disrupt, or lyse up to 12 small (300 mg or less) tissue or cell culture samples at a time. Air cooling™ minimizes sample heat up. Load the samples into 1.5mL snap-cap Eppendorf^® Safe-lock™ tubes, then place them in the Bullet Blender Lite. The "bullets" in the instrument vigorously strike all of the tubes and homogenize your sample in minutes.

Consistent Results

The Bullet Blender prepares up to 12 samples in just minutes. All of the samples are automatically homogenized in the same manner to minimize sample-to-sample variability.

No Cross-Contamination or Sample Loss

There are no probes or blades to cause cross contamination or sample loss, which also means there are no parts to clean between runs. The sample tubes are kept closed and self-contained during homogenization.

Samples Stay Cool

The instrument uses very little power due to the unique, patented design, so there is very little heat build up in the instrument or inside the sample tubes compared to other brands of homogenizers. What is the RPM range of the Bullet Blender?

Next Advance does not disclose the RPM specifications for the Bullet Blender. The reason they do this is because the mechanism of action for the Bullet Blenders (striking) is very different from the mechanism of action for other laboratory bead mill homogenizers, which almost exclusively act via shaking. Direct comparisons with different bead mills from different manufacturers based on RPMs, including using protocols from other instruments based on RPM, are not possible.

The best we can tell you is that the speed setting "1" is a speed which would be good for a moderately vigorous mixing, and the maximum speed is the most power you will get from the instrument. The specific RPMs which correspond to the numbers on the dial are not documented by Next Advance.
