The Montblanc Meisterstuck Inkwell ID 13921 brings the ritual of refilling back to the desk, pairing the precision of a dedicated reservoir with the quiet elegance of the brand's most storied collection. It presents a purposeful footprint and a thoughtfully engineered opening, creating a calm, controlled space for maintaining your favorite fountain pens.

Craftsmanship & Design

Shaped with the restrained lines and balanced proportions associated with the Meisterstuck ethos, this inkwell integrates clean surfaces and a deliberate silhouette that feels at home alongside a classic 149 or a modern daily writer. Every contour serves function: the reservoir is easy to access, the opening is defined for confident dipping, and the overall form reads as a considered instrument rather than a decorative afterthought.

Attention to practical details elevates the experience. The structure supports tidy refills while helping protect ink between sessions, and its desk presence is refined without distraction. The design language is unmistakably Montblanc, conveying the same sense of longevity and quiet authority that has long defined the Meisterstuck line.

Filling Experience

At the desk, the inkwell simplifies the process across piston-fill and converter-based fountain pens. The defined reservoir aids nib access and helps manage ink level visibility, encouraging consistent, repeatable fills. By providing a stable station for the task, it reduces the fuss of moving bottles and the guesswork around submerging the breather hole, turning maintenance into a brief, satisfying interval within the writing day.

Used regularly, the Montblanc Meisterstuck Inkwell ID 13921 supports cleaner fills, steadier ink management, and the kind of unhurried rhythm that keeps tools at their best. It is a functional companion as much as an object of design, tying the writing instrument to its source in a way that feels ordered and intentional.

Heritage

Since 1924, the Meisterstuck name has signified Montblanc's most enduring approach to writing: focused, beautifully made, and intended to be used for decades. A dedicated inkwell sits naturally within that tradition. It reflects a time when the desk was a complete writing environment and each component served a clear purpose, from pen and paper to the vessel that kept ink ready at hand.

Fine for a man (with skinny wrists)
Color: Black/Gray, Color: Black/Gray
I have an older mens ironman which has gotten a little beat up and needs replacing. The band is much longer than I need. The metal clasp sits off-center on the underside of my wrist, closer to the part of my wrist which curves around to the front. The too-long strap sometimes flops around and catches on things. I couldn't find a smaller-band mens version, so I tried this "womens" watch (picking the most manly-looking one, of course). I like it better. The band fits my wrist much better, with the metal band in the middle and no flop. I also like that the watch is lighter and the face and band are smaller and less bulky, so it is less noticeable when I'm wearing it (cycling weight weenies will appreciate this). The face is still large enough to be easily legible and contains all of the same great features as my mens ironman watch, plus the newer versions now have an hourly chime, nice! Other info: my wrist is ~17.5cm or ~7.0" around. On this watch, I use the 6th out of 9 slots on the band. On my mens ironman, I use the 3rd out of 9 slots. Weight: this one = 28g, mens = 39g. Pics show comparison of my prior mens ironman with this new "womens" ironman. Photo order is confusing (couldn't figure out how to change that). They are: (1) side-by-side, mens on left, (2) mens band (wider and clasp is off-center on my wrist, end of band hangs over the edge of my wrist -- too long for me -- catches on things), (3) womens band (less wide, clasp is more centered on my wrist and end does hang over edge of my wrist), (3) womens watch (smaller, and looks new), and (5) mens watch, looking a little beat up.

Watch holds up in saltwater!
Color: Black/Gray
I bought this watch to use for my trip to the Galapagos Islands. I read two reviews that the watch does not hold up in salt water. I went snorkeling in the ocean 6 times, about 45 minutes each time. The watch did not leak. I did take precautions by keeping the watch under my rash guard and lowering myself slowly into the water. I also rinsed off my watch each time I snorkeled. I also bought this watch for the multi time zone feature by saving the time on the west coast, east coast and Galapagos time since I cannot change the time on my Fitbit until I land in an airport. I did not use any other features of the watch because I generally use my phone or Fitbit for an alarm or timer. The only complaint I have is that Timex now discourages changing the battery by the consumer. I changed the battery myself on my old Ironman watch. The new Ironman watch is fitted with triangular head screws. So I will have to purchase screwdrivers with triangular heads when it comes time to change the battery.

Reliable and durable, even in harsh conditions
Color: Black/Gray
This watch has served me very well. From Arctic waters to long distance races, it has held up to everything except one task I asked of it, which was my fault. This watch can handle repeated free dives to 12 ft deep. It cannot handle scuba diving at the same depth for an hour straight without needing to have the battery shorted to reset it. It fits well, lights up consistently and brightly enough to read without being blinding, keeps accurate time, and generally does everything I want it to.

Ten years of ownership…Thank you, Timex!
Color: Black, Size: One Size
Solid watch for everyday wear. I have worn this watch for over 10 years. I let a watch shop replace the battery about every 18 months. Other than the original band (which lasted 5 years) I have had zero problems. Still looks great, rugged and manly😇 Overall I recommend this watch for its value, reliability, simple clear design, legible hands in all light conditions. Great watch!!!

Solid Watch for Everyday Casual Wear
Color: Black, Size: One Size
I have purchased this item other times and I’m quite satisfied with wearing this watch everyday with casual wear. The size is just right not too small or large.
