BrassCraft Gas Water Heater Installation Kit contains everything you need to connect most gas water heaters to your water and gas supply. BrassCraft's ProCoat gas connector with advanced corrosion resistance provides a safer gas connector for home and family. Our stainless steel gas connector is protected with a proprietary polymer coating designed to withstand prolonged exposure to harsh household cleaning, plumbing repair and masonry products. The coating is applied only after the connector has been 100% leak tested, prior to nut and fitting assembly. This process results in the most complete corrosion resistance available. Kit contains (1) 3mil tube of pipe thread sealant and (1) 3mil tube of leak detection solution (fluorescent green). This kit also features our premium engineered polymer braid water connectors, called Speedi Plumb PLUS. The patented polymer braided jacket is specially engineered to allow the connector to bend freely without kinking or flattening and won't work harden with repeated bending. In addition, the braiding resists corrosion from harsh cleaning and plumbing repair chemicals; no rusting and deterioration. The braid and inner core are non-conductive materials and eliminate the need for a dielectric union.
