De Gibson ES-335 60s is de keuze voor de gitarist die de slanke elegantie van de vroege sixties verkiest boven de volle warmte van de late jaren vijftig. Waar de 50s-versie imposant aanvoelt, is de 60s subtiel en snel: een instrument dat je uitnodigt om te spelen en niet meer te stoppen. De Sixties Cherry nitrocellulose afwerking maakt het plaatje compleet.

De toon wordt gevormd door een paar gekalibreerde T-Type humbuckers met Alnico 5-magneten, die de karakteristieke klank van vintage Gibson T-Top humbuckers reproduceren: helder, articulerend en met een lichte scherpte die uitstekend past bij blues, rock en jazz. De hand-bedrade 500k potmeters en drieweg schakelaar geven je volledige controle over je geluid.

De semi-hollow body is van drielaags maple/populier/maple met een massief maple centerblock voor feedback-controle en sustain. Het mahonie hals heeft het kenmerkende SlimTaper profiel: slanker en sneller dan de Rounded C van de 50s. Het gebonden rosewood fretboard telt 22 medium jumbo frets met kleine blokinlays. Grover Rotomatic tuners, ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic brug en aluminium Stop Bar tailpiece completeren het instrument. Geleverd met een Gibson hardshell case.
