Simplify Marine Power Management with the e-Series Dual Circuit Plus

Managing multiple battery banks on a vessel often involves complex wiring or the risk of draining your starting battery through house loads. The Blue Sea e-Series Dual Circuit Plus Battery Switch offers a sophisticated solution by simultaneously switching two isolated battery banks with a single ON/OFF knob. This intuitive design ensures that your engine starting battery remains isolated from your house battery circuit, preserving critical cranking power while protecting sensitive electronics from voltage spikes during engine starting.

Simultaneous Switching and Isolation

Unlike traditional selector switches that force you to choose between batteries, the Dual Circuit Plus acts as two switches in one. When turned to the ON position, it connects the start battery to the engine and the house battery to the distribution panel simultaneously, yet keeps the circuits electrically separate. This isolation is crucial for modern boating; it allows you to run refrigerators, lighting, and audio systems from the house bank without the risk of depleting the battery required to start the engine. It effectively solves the common problem of accidental starting battery discharge while at anchor.

Emergency Parallel Functionality

Safety and redundancy are paramount in marine environments. In the event of a flat starting battery, this switch features a "Combine Batteries" position. By rotating the knob to this setting, you can parallel both battery banks, utilising the capacity of the house bank to provide the necessary amperage to start the engine. This built-in emergency cross-over eliminates the need for jumper cables or separate emergency parallel solenoids, providing immediate peace of mind when you are far from shore.

Engineered for Harsh Marine Environments

Built to withstand the rigours of the ocean, the e-Series switch features tinned copper studs for maximum conductivity and corrosion resistance. The 3/8"-16 (Approx. M10) terminal studs are designed to accept heavy-duty ring terminals, accommodating cables up to 4/0 AWG (Approx. 120mm²). The switch is rated for a continuous current of 350A per circuit, making it suitable for most small to medium-sized outboards and inboard engines.

Additionally, the unit is ignition protected, making it safe for installation in the engine rooms of petrol-powered boats. This safety rating ensures the switch will not ignite flammable fumes, a critical requirement for compliance and safety on board.

Make-Before-Break Design

The internal mechanism utilises a make-before-break contact design. This allows you to switch between the "ON" and "COMBINE" positions without momentarily cutting power, ensuring that GPS units, radios, and other sensitive electronics do not reboot or lose signal during critical switching operations.

Key Features

  • Dual Circuit Plus Design: Switches two battery banks simultaneously while maintaining isolation
  • Emergency Combine: Parallels banks to start the engine if the starting battery is low
  • High Current Rating: Handles 350A continuous current per circuit suitable for substantial loads
  • Ignition Protected: Safe for installation aboard petrol-powered vessels
  • Corrosion Resistant: Tinned copper 3/8"-16 (Approx. M10) studs ensure long-lasting electrical connections
  • Make-Before-Break Contact: Allows switching without interrupting power to electronics

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
