1955-1957 Chevy Bel Air Front Upper Seat Spring Complete Repair Kit is a reproduction of the original GM part. This set includes ALL the upper seat spring material, edgewire, and clips required to do a complete lower seat restoration. NOTE: the springs do not come pre-assembled. The spring material and edgewire will come in a coil and will have to be cut, bent and formed to the proper lengths. The spring pattern fits wonderfully with the original wire. The lower seat spring wire gauge is thicker than the upper seat to accommodate more weight. We also sell the thicker wire for the lower portion of the seat. We recommend that you keep the original seat wire to use as a pattern to know where to bend and cut the springs. NOTE: The 1955-1956 went crazy with clips and has more that twice the number of clips than the 1957 (that's why they cost a little more).
